Laptop
Laptop Frame – Laptops have become a necessity
and customers demand durability and style. To meet
industrial needs, Trinseo offers painting-free solutions for laptop frames. Our painting-free solution
means cost saving as it gives high gloss and excellent
aesthetics without the painting process.

Back Light Unit & Diffusion Film – Trinseo offers a
comprehensive product portfolio for back light unit and
diffusion film used in LCD screens. We are a recognized
leader in delivering high quality products and a reliable
supplier in this area.
Trinseo offers high reflective (white) IRPC2 resin for
lamp holder applications, plus 10% and 20% GF reinforced IRPC resin with good aesthetic and dimensional
stability for frame applications. XQ 83619.00 features
heat and UV resistance, non-halogen, high reflectivity
and UL rating. EMERGE™ 4902 is a 20% GF reinforced
IRPC that comes with good aesthetics, high stiffness,
good toughness and non-halogen. Trinseo’s CELEX™
310HF.M is a 10% GF reinforced IRPC resin with good
aesthetics. It possesses high flow and good toughness. Our high quality resins are also used in diffusion
film applications for LCD displays, TVs, laptops and cell
phones that require very high optical standard.
XQ 83639.00 provides high gloss and the trendy piano
black look, while XQ 83638.00 and XQ 83634.00 both
come with high gloss and scratch-resistant features
that are simply essential. In order to meet a wide
range of customer needs, our EMERGE™ 8600 series
offers customized grades in your ideal balance of flow
and toughness.
Printer
Label Film – We offer easy-to-process resin with excellent ignition-resistance based on our proprietary silicone
flame retardant (FR) technology for label film application. XQ 83632.00 is a highly transparent resin that is
good for reverse printing.
Laser Printer Enclosure – CELEX™ 5200HF comes with
low gloss and provides an ease for coloring and process.
It has the required UL rating and good toughness,
performing stably under both hot and cold environments.
Light Guide Panel – For the trendy laptop and silm LED
TV require high transparency and light transmission
polycarbonate resin. Trinseo’s resin comes with high
light transmission at edge, high transparency and excellent optical properties with high purity.
Flat Panel TV
No longer hiding away in the corner, today’s TV is
slimmer and larger – often the center of attention in
the room. So they better look as good when the set
is switched off as they do when being used. Trinseo
helps you find the right plastic resin to meet all of your
TV housing needs.
Enclosure – We have solutions tailored specifically to
high-aesthetic or high-flow performance, and a wellbalanced performance of heat and flow. STYRON™
1180 is a cost-effective substitution for the often more
expensive ABS resin and PMMA1/ABS alloy for enclosure
applications. Offering high impact resistance with an
easy-to-color, uniform glossy finish, STYRON A-TECH™
1180 provides attributes needed for flat panel TV
enclosures. EMERGE™ and CELEX™ resins offer excellent
aesthetics and ignition-resistance that meets industrial
standards.
Insulation Film – XQ 83635.00 offered by Trinseo has
high FR resistant (UL 94 V-0 rating at 0.5mm) and high
dielectric strength, enabling this resin to act as insulation between electronic parts and housing. It provides a

Contributing to a more sustainable and “green” environment is no doubt a shared value among you, the end-user
and Trinseo. In addition to the above-mentioned applications, we also developed a PCR (post-consumer recycle)
containing plastic resin. EMERGE™ 7880ECO resin contains
50% recycled resin without any trade-off in material
toughness. It also comes with the required UL rating and
a third party verification that this resin complies with the
industry standard for environmental performance IEEE
1680 (sections 4.1 and 4.2 on material composition and
raw material selection) .
Ink Jet Printer Enclosure – STYRON A-TECH™ 1180 and
438 polystyrene resins are an ideal selection for ink jet
printer enclosures. The resins offer excellent aesthetics
to attract consumers’ attention. We are proud of our
product’s quality and supply consistency, which enhance
our customers’ productivity.
Structural Parts – CELEX™ 720GS is best for use in the
structural parts of printers, offering good chemical resistance and dimensional stability.
Hand-held Device
Enclosure – Smart-phones, tablet PCs and e-books
are getting smarter and laptops are getting lighter –
and consumers want their electronic equipment to
look stylish. EMERGE™ advanced resins and CELEX™
engineered resins, made of polycarbonate and polycarbonate blends, from Trinseo helps hand-held device
housings achieve perfect aesthetics and performance,
while maintaining their high-impact structural integrity,
even when on the go.
