PORCELAIN is slightly warm white, opaque, very dense, tough and smooth
TRANSLUCENT PORCELAIN is white, translucent, very dense, tough and
extremely smooth and durable.
COLOURED TRANSLUCENT PORCELAIN has ceramic colourants mixed
into the clay itself by the artist.
CLEAR GLAZE is applied OVER the colours for depth, durability and sheen.

1224 “Ocean Lights” 12 panel hand built Chandelier with LED light.
3 panels in a blended coloured porcelain, land to seascape scene in
yellow to greens to blues and 9 panels in translucent white porcelain
with 7-8 cutouts each with glowing light through matching multicoloured stained glass. Clear glaze on the outside of the panels.

1219 “Swirl Vase 5” in wheel thrown white Translucent Porcelain with 2 multicoloured hand built, assembled, patterned Translucent Porcelain murrinis and wisps
of blue incorporated into the ball of clay prior to throwing on the wheel. The
upward pull of the artist’s hands and the motion of the wheel stretch and swirl the
colours and patterns. The bottom half has a lovely diagonal ‘chatter’ textured
pattern. Clear glaze overall.
