What is the DEMS Portal?
This is the solution that enables you to use the DEMS® –
Siemens’ Decentralized Energy Management System –
without needing to operate it yourself. As the “brain”
of a virtual power plant, DEMS bundles your distributed
energy resources into a large unit that can be efficiently
controlled. This is crucial for economically marketing them.
How individual is your portal?
The key element is that your DEMS Portal is operated
under your brand name and with your logo. This means
that your customers will always see you as the contact
partner that they know and trust.
What do we do for you?
We handle operation, IT security and the maintenance
aspects of DEMS on our servers. This is a particularly lowcost arrangement for you, because DEMS represents the
capacity of several regional energy providers – as independent “clients,” of course, with no ability to view or
access each other’s information. You also manage your
own data; we simply act as your provider.
How is the energy marketed?
You also don’t need to worry about the complicated
energy marketing process. You can offer your bundled,
decentralized energy resources to any major virtual
power plant of your choice for marketing.
