Our solution is called “motracs”. Electrical safety: SENCO is an integrated development of the electrical interlocking concept, which improves safety in high and medium voltage electrical installations. Power supply for containerized railway transport: The GERCO (“Onboard Container Refrigeration Generation”) project allows cooling of containers during rail transport, as an appropriate and optimal solution to ensure the cold chain and optimize transport times. Research: TRADIS Chair in collaboration with the University Carlos III of Madrid, for research into the development of an Electrical Dimensioning Platform for railway lines: Catenary, Substations and Power Distribution. HIGH SPEED ELECTREN, in collaboration with other companies and bodies in the industry, has developed the technology for the E350 high speed railway electrification system. This system is based on the 2 x 25kV 50Hz type power supply, in which the traction units receive voltage through the catenary (+25kV), the return line and a negative feeder (-25kV). It allows for more efficient power transmission as this is high voltage (50kV) and decreases the return current through the return cable. It thereby increases the return current through the -25 kV cable, and reduces the effects of diverted return currents causing interference in communications and signalling systems in conventional 3kV DC electrification systems nearby. Therefore, the main advantages of this catenary are efficient power transmission, decreased effects on nearby systems, easy adjustability, interchangeable parts, reliability, optimal interaction between the pantograph and the catenary, and European interoperability according to TSI 2008. ELECTREN HAS DEVELOPED THE TECHNOLOGY FOR THE E350 HIGH SPEED RAILWAY ELECTRIFICATION SYSTEM. HIGH SPEED FEATURES OF E350 OVERHEAD SYSTEM: 1. Simple, polygonal, vertical, braced and tension regulated catenary. 2. Design speed: 350km/h+10%. 3. False carrying cable (Stitched catenary). 4. Aluminium tubular cantilevers. 5. Contact wire: 150 mm2 (CuMg0.5), mechanical tension: 3.150 Kg 6. Carrying cable : Cu 95 mm2, mechanical tension: 1575 Kg 7. False carrying cable : Cu 35 mm2, mechanical tension: 315 Kg 8. Equipotential catenary hangers with Cu 25 mm2 loops. OTHER TECHNOLOGIES : CAVA 350 catenary for 25 kV AC high speed. CPV220 polyvalent catenary for 220 km/h speed at 3 kV DC.
