Please read the following information before using your SmartBat Charger:
SmartBat Charger is a solid-state battery charger designed to charge your 12-volt battery and maintain
and hold it to a full charge. The SmartBat Charger will keep your battery fully charged and can be
plugged in for as long as you want. SmartBat Charger will never over charge your battery. Our solidstate technology means you can leave the charger plugged in 24/7.

Connect the SmartBat Charger to your battery via the Quick Plug connector attaching the black
wire to the negative terminal first and then the red wire to the positive terminal.
Secure the Quick Plug to a location easily accessible for easy use.
Connect the SmartBat Charger to the Quick Plug connector.
Connect the SmartBat Charger to an AC outlet. The green light will turn orange.
When the LED is orange your battery is charging.
When the LED turns green your battery is fully charged. Remember, you can leave the
SmartBat Charger on after your battery is fully charged.

Before using your SmartBat Charger, read all instructions and caution warnings on the battery
you are charging, and the item the battery is being used in.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of injury, charge only 12-volt absorbed glass-mat batteries
(Odyssey/GBat), wet-lead-acid, sealed-lead-acid and gel batteries.
Do not let charger get wet.
Any use of an attachment not approved by GMan Industries, Ltd is NOT RECOMMENDED
and may result in the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury.
To reduce the risk of damage to the plug and cord, pull the plug only to disconnect the charger.
Extension cords are not recommended.
Do not operate the SmartBat Charger with a damaged cord or plug.
Do not use the SmartBat Charger if it has been damaged in any way.
Do not disassemble SmartBat Charger.
To reduce risk of electrical shock, always unplug the SmartBat Charger from the outlet and the
battery before cleaning or attempting any maintenance.
Always secure the protective Quick Plug caps in place when not in use.
