Radiated Emission was performed under the full cable configuration. The EUT was tested as tabletop equipment and was configured and operated in a manner consistent with its intended use. The EUT was connected to rate power and allowed to warm up. 1.2.3 Operation Mode The operating mode was selected to produce worse case radiation and place the EUT in the most susceptible state. There were no deviations from the test standard. 2.1.3 Test Configuration The testing was performed on the 10-METER OPEN AREA TEST SITE. The EUT was placed on a nonconductive remotely controlled rotated table 80cm above the ground plane. Testing was performed at an antenna to EUT distance of 10 meters. Radiated RF Emission was performed at InterTek’s 10 meter Open Area Test Site (OATS) located in the town of Kitchener, Province of Ontario. The above site have been calibrated in accordance with ANSI C63.4, and found to be in compliance with the requirements of Sec. 2.948 of the FCC. A photograph of the test configuration is shown in the attached data 2.1.4 Test Procedure The EUT was tested on the 10-METER OPEN AREA TEST SITE. For each frequency measured, the peak emission was maximized by raising or lowering the receiving antenna on the antenna tower within 1 to 4 meters from the ground plane and placing it at the position, which produced maximum signal strength reading. The I/O cables were also manipulated to the position, which produced high emission. The turntable was rotated through 360° while observing the peak signal and placing the EUT at the position that produced maximum radiation. The procedure was performed in both horizontal and vertical antenna polarization. The peak emission data was recorded into Measurement Table. When the peak emissions were more then 20dB below the limit they were not recorded. 2.1.5 Test Results The test data is listed in the Radiated Frequency Emission Data Record. The EUT was found to be compliant with modifications to the requirements of the test standard to FCC Part 15, Subpart B Class A. EUT was tested with line voltage 120VAC/60Hz. 2.2.5 Test Results Plots of the EUT’s AC Power Line Conducted Emissions were contained in the following pages. The plots showed peak emission. If the peak emissions or QP emission were below the quasi-peak and average limit, then the EUT was considered to pass without testing in QP and AV detector modes. The EUT was found to be compliant to the requirements of the test standard as originally tested to Class A of the FCC Part 15B. Normally 120VAC/60Hz was supplied to run the EUT. It is connected with a SAMSUNG SynsMaster 750s monitor, a keyboard and a mouse. Two speakers are connected with both EUTs communication ports. For the normal operations of EUTs are necessary to connect power and connection between transmitter and receiver, monitor and speakers but keyboards and mouse are not required for normal operation. Testing related to the power supply does not require to be done.
