QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING PROTECTS AGAINST RUST ADHESIVE AND PENETRATING POWERS FOR METAL SURFACES FOR CONCRETE SURFACES QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING helps protect metal from moisture, acid fumes, salt-air mist, and silage acid. VERSATILE ECONOMICAL QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING is a unique asphalt coating. It took many years of research to produce. It will withstand the constant attack of rust and corrosion on metal. It was primarily developed to protect outdoor metal surfaces under normal conditions. Tests have shown, however, QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING has good resistance to moisture, acid fumes, salt-air mist, and silage acid. It is recommended for coastal areas and industrial sites everywhere. QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING Protects Against Rust Exposed metal surfaces are in constant danger from rust and corrosion. If the damage is not detected early and corrected, it could mean major extra expense to you. With QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING, you get protection against damaging rust and corrosion for virtually all metal surfaces. Its quick-drying action helps prevent further damage - - practically eliminating any chance of rust on new surfaces. QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING Has Adhesive and Penetrating Powers QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING is a jet-black, easy-to-apply asphalt coating. Its special formulation allows it to penetrate into corroded areas and retard further spreading. For best results, remove rust and scale before applying QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING. It is pliable enough to allow it to expand and contract with the metal, without losing its protective bond. Normal stresses of that type can crack a regular paint surface. The great adhesive and penetrating powers of this product give it a superior bond to metal or concrete. On metal surfaces, it protects against rust and corrosion caused by moisture, most dilute acids, alkalies, salt water or salt spray, stack fumes and other pollutants. On concrete surfaces, it protects against deterioration from industrial fumes, salt, moisture, or other airborne pollutants. The concrete, whether it is slab or block construction, lasts longer and functions more effectively. At the same time, repair costs are substantially reduced or eliminated. QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING For Metal Surfaces For metal surfaces, preparation of the surface is important. It should be free of scale, dirt, peeling paint, rust flakes, or any other loose material. You can accomplish such cleaning by use of a wire brush or scraper, cleaning away all this material - - rusted areas need not be scraped down to bright metal. The surface must be dry. New galvanized steel must be cleaned and allowed to weather for three months prior to application. On exterior surfaces, drying time is about four hours. A second coat may be applied after that time. It is recommended that two coats be applied where corrosive conditions such as acid rain or salt water exist. Coverage rates on metal are about one gallon of QUICK-DRY ANTIOXIDENE COATING to 300 square feet. QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING For Concrete Surfaces For concrete surfaces, the surface must be cleaned and dry. Use a stiff-fiber brush to remove any loose scale or other loose materials. Do not apply over painted surfaces. The first coat will cure in approximately four hours. The first coat coverage rate will be from 100 to 200 square feet per gallon of QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING. After the first coat has cured, apply the second coat at the rate of one gallon for each 200 to 300 square feet. The final coat should cure in approximately 72 hours, depending on the humidity levels. Remember, the product is applied directly as it comes from the container. There is no mixing required and should not be diluted. During application of the product, it will appear jetblack; however, as it cures and weathers, it turns a brownishblack color. QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING Is Versatile There is a need for this product all around you. Some of those areas include the following: Metal storage sheds, metal roofs, trestles, bridges, girders and beams, interiors and exteriors of metal warehouses. In addition, you will find concrete abutments, interior of concrete sewer pipes, concrete and metal structures exposed to water, salt water or sewage. You also have cast iron pipes and fittings, racks, oil drilling equipment, and derricks. Let's not forget farm, construction and mining equipment, water and chemical tanks, towers and prestressed concrete structures. In particular, buildings of block construction have vulnerability at the mortar joints. You can stop the acid deterioration of those joints. QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING Is Economical QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING is a low cost item in the long run. It assures protection and of course, it is many times less costly than building new metal or concrete buildings. In addition, it is less costly than other metal and concrete paints. You get a good coverage rate of 300 square feet of metal surface for each gallon of QUICK-DRY ANTIOXIDENE COATING. You can even get good coverage with a single coat on smooth surfaces. Concrete surfaces require a little more product and two coats are suggested; but with the low cost of this product, you can apply QUICK-DRY ANTIOXIDENE COATING for only a few pennies per square foot. QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING is applied directly as it comes from the container. There is no mixing required and the product should not be diluted. The product can be applied by a brush or appropriate spray equipment. Please note paints with a non-asphalt base will not bond with QUICK-DRY ANTI-OXIDENE COATING.
