This development kit includes two part, carrier board and CPU board. OMAP3530 with ARM Cortex-A8 core which have 4 times performance than ARM 9 core. OMAP3530 integrate ARM Cortex-A8 core, DSP, picture engine and plenty of peripherals in one single chip, it provide the best combination of multimedia and photo processor. Our OMAP3530 Kit provides user a complete software development platform, support Linux and Wince6.0 operating system. OMAP3530 provide more than 1200 Dhrystone MIPS high performance, it can run Linux with QT and integrate the picture engine which compatibles with OpenGL ES2.0. KIT OMAP3530 development board use this AV interface to connect the composite video signal, it is a yellow interface on the board. SVIDEO OUT can be used to connect with standard TV device. Kit OMAP 3530 board support output the different video signal by SVIDEO and DVI-D. Mini USB interface can be used as both USB DEVICE and USB HOST, it support OTG, HOST two modes (use different type of cable). When Mini USB interface be used as USB DEVICE, please use Mini USB-USB A converter, and connect a USB HUB. Application Field z z z z z z Low power consumption PC: use the OMAP3530 CPU board with a simple carrier board and a 8’’ LCD to meet the customer requirement. OMA3530 support Linux, Windows CE, High performance handheld device: use the OMAP3530 board with a simple carrier board and another small size LCD. Low power consumption CPU board is very suitable for smart phone and GPS system. IP video monitor terminal: Use the CPU board+ carrier board and plus monitor camera to meet the requirement. OMAP3530 with internal TMS320C64x+DSP provide a hardware H.264 encode and ensure the video stream be transmitted with the minimal bandwidth and stable transmission. Game Player: Use the CPU board+ carrier board and the input device of the game player.
