downtrodden progress. These words quoted by the ‘Mahatma’ is the force that made us
to establish “CAPE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY”
The ultimate goal of our institution is to excite the studious scholars, nurturing
them with an aim of highlighting the inborn talents and embedded skills in young men
and women and raise their standards to perfect professional and brand them ‘CAPE’.
Enriching employability skills is the crying need of the hour. Right from inception, this
institution has become synonymous with strict discipline, academic excellence and
placement opportunities.
The Institution is designed with infrastructure to perfection with all the
amenities and facilities accommodated.
CARE, Cape Attributes Renewable Energy the R&D center has laid the foundation in the progress of young research scholars in
future. The vision of Cape is to make this Institution emerge as “Cape University”. The process of branding of the institution is done by
raising the talents and bringing out the best of the faculty. The threshold of Cape is to open a silver lining of prosperity, progress and

The making of Cape is a step by step progress and in the years to come it is sure
to reap fruits of SUCCESS. To achieve things we have to approach differently. Hence the
next target is to transform CAPE, an Industry based -Institution so that student may
not go anywhere to fetch a job. It would provide an education not for theory
accumulation but an education that would provide an opportunity that would serve
both the individual and the society. CAPE believes in delivering value-based education
of high standard in order to ensure that, every product of CAPE is well recognised by
the industry. We not only groom our students to become excellent engineers who go
on to add tremendous value to the industry through their technical abilities but also
equip them with the confidence and knowledge required to chase global opportunity.
I firmly believe that “every effort and every achievement at CAPE will play a defining
role in each student’s life”. CAPE has got many Dreams to come true. Think Big is the
Policy of CAPE. Hence it has achieved various milestones and it has a thirst for more

Several activities for building leadership qualities and how to
cooperate in team work are carried out through NSS and Youth Red
Cross in our campus. In order to inculcate the reading habit

SAATHIKALAAM VAANGA:
In order to create awareness amongst the students preparing for the PLUS TWO we are organizing SAATHIKALAAM VAANGA every
year to benefit them.
We have experts in the relevant subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology who give useful tips for presenting the
examination in the best way and emphasizing the key points to be highlighted in the respective subjects. The book prepared by the
Experts would definitely increase the efficiency of the efforts we take to come out with flying colors in the forthcoming plus two
examinations.
SURABHI:
Surabhi is an empowerment programme for college students. surabhi arises in developing the technical skill of the student.
Surabhi is offered during the summer/winter vacations focussing the current/future technology.
SUBHIKSHA
Subhiksha is a computer skill development programme for school children. The programme is the brainchild of Dr.S.Regupathy
Prof/Chemistry department and is successfully executed by Computer Engineer Technical Association (CETA) Dept of CSE for the past six
years.
VETRI NICHAYAM:
Cape together with the most popular tamil newspaper 'Dinathanthi' conducts a programme for the plus two students on the
opportunities ahead to choose his/her career. This programme has been organised since 2003 and the response of the people is really
stunning.
Vetri Nichayam has really branded the name of CAPE in and around the districts and students flock in such programmes which
are conducted with a service motto. It has really served in the process of lighting lamps in the life of many students who sometimes are
left unnoticed in the darkness of ignorance.
