• Please read entire guide before beginning fixture installation.
• For installation by a qualified electrician familiar with the construction and operation of luminaire electrical
systems and the hazards involved. Must be installed and wired in accordance with all local and national
electrical codes.
• Wall mounting hardware is not included due to the wide variety of wall materials. Customer should determine
the appropriate anchoring hardware for their specific needs. #8 mounting hardware is recommended.

Turn off the circuit breaker.
Remove cross-bar, if present, and loosen
connecting screws from junction box (octogonal
or rectangular)
!
WARNING: Shock Hazard. May result in
serious injury or death. Turn off power to
all feeds before wiring or servicing.

Remove 4 screws to separate chassis from
back mounting plate. Set cover and screws
aside.
Pull wires from junction
box through back plate as
shown. Slip the back plate
over the connecting screws
and tighten. Be careful not to
pinch any wires.

Make corresponding connections as illustrated below using wire connectors.

For ballast or LED driver replacement by a qualified electrician: Disconnect solid leads
from ballast / driver, replace ballast / driver, and reconnect according to color designation on
ballast / driver label.

Replace chassis over back mounting plate. Align screw holes and re-install 4 screws.
NOTE: Ivalo Lighting® recommends the use of
# 8 mounting hardware. At the foot of the Sconce is an
additional hole for a screw to fasten to the wall. Wall
mounting hardware is not included due to the wide
variety of wall materials. Customer should detemine the
appropriate anchoring hardware for their specific needs.

Insert appropriate wattage lamp in socket. See label
on product for lamp specifications (light source
provided with LED model).
Remove protective cover (LED models only).
Slip shell mounting bracket into appropriate clips.

Insert and tighten locking cover screw into the
bottom mounting bracket.
Turn on the power.
