Jasmine possesses vast and diverse experience in Intellectual Property (IP) and technology management from both private and public sectors in the areas of formulating and implementing national IP policies, corporate IP strategies and management, IP and technology development, commercialization, fund raising and investment. Prior to joining RHT i-Assets Advisory, Jasmine was the Executive Vice-President at Transpacific IP. During her tenure, she built up a strong client base ranging from government agencies, academia, research organizations and companies across all sectors locally and internationally. She has advised and assisted clients in realising the maximum value of their expertise and know-how, technologies, products and services, allowing them to gain market share in existing and new markets. Prior to joining Transpacific IP, Jasmine was Director of the National University of Singapore Industry Liaison Office, where she was responsible for University-Industry alliances and partnerships, management of IP and negotiating licenses and corporate-sponsored research agreements. Under her leadership, the office transformed into a highly effective outfit, creating value from NUS-developed technologies, becoming the leading technology management and industry liaison office in Singapore and around the region. Jasmine has been actively involved in national IP policies in Singapore and the region, having spent some time in her IP career at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board. Jasmine is an active thought leader, a published author, frequent speaker, and members of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), Licensing Executive Society (LES) and a senior member of the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES), having served in leadership positions. Jasmine has been named one of the “World’s Leading IP Strategist” by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Magazine since 2013. She is admitted to the Registry of IP Technology Consultant as a Senior IP Technology Consultant and a registered SCOPE IP Consultant under IP Office of Singapore. She is frequently called upon by World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) to provide technology transfer and IP training worldwide and currently serves as advisor and board member of several for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Jasmine earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physical Oceanography from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Civil Engineering. Joel Ng Deputy Director Singapore Institute of Technology Joel Ng is currently a deputy director with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) where he oversees industry liaison and technology management. Prior to SIT, Joel also enjoyed IP management stints with IPOS and NUS, where he worked extensively with local enterprises and management of inventions within the ICT sector. Joel spent about 10 years in the ICT industry, where he held various positions ranging from technical, consultancy to teaching. Joel holds a Masters in IP management (NUS) and a degree in Computer Science (NUS). Prior to joining RHT i-Assets Advisory, she was Transpacific IP Group’s Vice-President (Business Development) and before that, Associate Director, Industry Liaison Office, National University of Singapore, where she headed the Life Sciences Contracts and Industry Relations Group, overseeing the management of external academic and industry relationships; cutting across research collaborations, technology transfer and licensing. Airani had undertaken academic clinical research studying thyroid and metabolic diseases; was secretariat to Singapore’s Genetic Modification Advisory Committee which oversees and advices the Singapore government on genetic modification issues; was part of the team that promoted Singapore’s national biomedical sciences initiatives (Agency for Science, Technology and Research, A*STAR); and taken on business development roles in research consumables, diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals companies. Airani read science (BSc) and business administration (MBA) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and has a Graduate Certificate in IP Law (GCIP) issued jointly by the IP Academy of Singapore and NUS.
