Most people setup each user and choose their posting dates, and ignore the G/L Setups… This is a HUGE Risk, because the Adjust Cost routine considers the G/L Posting Setups - and ignores the User Setups. The Best Practice Tip – Leave the user setup blank, except for the exception users – and just change the G/L Setups on a monthly basis. Allow the G/L Setups to post only to the current month.
