EASA policy on RPAS certification
There is NO EASA AIRWORTHINESS STANDARD (Certification Specification) for
RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) available, ………….but an EASA policy:
Airworthiness objective:
With no persons onboard the aircraft, the airworthiness objective is primarily targeted
at the protection of people and property on the ground.
A civil UAS must not increase the risk to people or property on the ground compared with
manned aircraft of equivalent category.
