Madar Contracting O.P.C. is a Qatari Company, originally formed in 1992, specialized in
the field of design and construction of Civil and Industrial Construction as well as
Infrastructure and Marine development works.
The company has been certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance to the following Quality Management System Standards:

A joinery/carpentry workshop to design, fabricate, supply and install various timber
products like doors, wardrobes, cup boards, cladding, handrail, skirting etc. Al‐Madar has
also been certified by BM Trada for production and installation of fire rated timber doors in
compliance with BS 476: Part 22, and the same has been approved by Civil Defense
Department.

The Company is employing more than 2000 persons in Qatar, Al Madar’s highest priority
and commitment is to provide the Client with sound and professional engineering
execution to the highest standard and satisfaction.

MANPOWER STRENGTH:
Management, administration, engineering and technical staff is of Middle Eastern,
European and Asian Nationalities.
The Company has, on the average, employed between 35‐50 management and
administration staff, including a number of graduate and technical engineers, a selection
list of project managers and other staff is enclosed.
In total,
total the company has its own project management staff like Project Managers,
Managers
Project/Site Engineers, Planning Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, Site Foreman, Land
Surveyors, Site QS, AutoCAD Draftsman, Store/Time Keepers and Safety Officers.
As for the site manpower, we have skilled manpower like Carpenters, Steel fixers, Block
Masons, Plaster Masons, Ceramic Masons, Unskilled Laborers, drivers & Operators.

Through our overseas contract, we are able to draw
on short notice, additional engineering, supervisory
and specialist personnel from Europe, should the
need arise.
Labor
:
The Company has used primarily Indian labor for all
qualified civil and finishing work, and Nepal,
Pakistani, Egyptian labor for other qualification.
Mechanical construction personnel are primarily
from India & Nepal.
In order to retain flexibility,
flexibility the Company is rotating
its qualified staff on long term leave at times of
reduced work load and is thus able to recall them
on short notice.
The Company has equally developed a reliable
reservoir of seconded labor in Doha in order to
meet short term peaks of demand.
Accordingly, the Company is able to mobilize rapidly,
as it has done successfully in the past, for many
large projects which would exceed its momentarily
available manpower.
