SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Moving coil is a system where a coil (with pointer and hairsprings)
moves to restore a torque due to a magnet field generated by a
permanent magnet.
APPLICATION
Moving coil instruments are suitable to measure continuous
voltage and current.
Its feature is a low power consuption
Connected to measuring transducers, (.../ 60mV ,.../ 1mA ,.../ 10V)
and with a suitable dial, it can be used to measure others
quantities (°C, m/s, rpm, watt...)
For current over 100A, should be connected to shunts .../ 60mV.

Instruments with rectifier for AC,
current and voltage - Model BK...R.
Used for measring AC currrent or voltage, can be used with
CT’s (.../ 5A) and PT’ s (.../ 115V ,.../ 120 V ,...).
Instrument has the system with rectifier diodes and are
calibrated for senoidal wave (r.m.s), 60 or 50Hz.
- Nominal Voltage: 600 V.
- Dielectric test:
2 kV, 50 or 60Hz for 1 minute.
- Internal Resistance.
1 mA - aprox. 270 ohms
60 mV - aprox. 180 ohms / V
- Thermoplastic case: BK 72 e BK 72 R
- Metalic case: BK 96 / 144 e BK 96R / 144R.
- Frontal protection: IP 51 ( under request IP 54 ).
Protection Terminal: IP 00
Moving coil system are suitable for switchboard, control
panels, machines..., and has a linear scale that makes an
easy reading
