SIGNAL CONDITIONER FOR STRAIN GAUGE WITH
THRESHOLD, DIN HOUSING SERIES 3320
DESCRIPTION
The 3320 model is a signal conditioner for strain gauge which can accept very low
bridge resistance values ( 80 ohm).Gain and zero can be easily regulated by dip-switch
and potentiometer. Excitation can be either 5 or 10 volts.
Output is available in several formats : 0/10 V, ± 10 V or 4/20 mA. The bridge can be
hooked up in either 4 or 6 wire configuration.
6 wire configuration will avoid any voltage loss between supply and the strain gauge
due to long cable length.
The 3320 module will also detect threshold limits, wire break of the sensor and supply
loss. Failure signal is given through a relay.
Two different thresholds can be easily set by potentiometers accessible from the front
of the unit.
This industrial unit come in a PA PHOENIX polyamide housing, EM type, and can be
clipped onto any DIN EN line (norm EN 50022).
