Warrantee conditions.
The following warrantee conditions are
binding to grand you our warrantee:
The warrantee is being granted on our 2- and
3-layer parquet floorings from a thickness of
10 mm on with the sealed surface “ProtectUltra“ when they are being installed in living
areas except for damp locations. It amounts
to 20 years and extends to the functionality,
the structures of the layers and the gluing of
the cover lamellas as well as the surface sealing
"Protect-Ultra“according to the terms of the
following paragraphs. The warrantee is being
granted from the date of purchase mentioned
to the invoice. The condition for the warrantee
claims is that the warrantee guidelines, the
installation instructions and the cleaning and
care instructions of the company BOEN are
being followed.
A warrantee claim is not accepted for any
improper use and for a use at which the
installation instructions are not being complied
with.
The warrantee promise does not cover any
damages due to accidents, force majeure and
damages which had been caused due to
unusual circumstances in standard living areas;
neither insect attacks are being covered.
We do not grand any warrantee neither for
purely optical damages such as e.g. joints
which are resulting of climate changes caused
by the different seasons, color changes due to
exposure to light, dents or damages nor for
deformations of the boards due to room
climate.
Any damages which had been caused by
improper care, cleaning or maintenance of the
surface coating, mechanic or chemical
damages or damages due to exposure to
humidity or due to improper installation are
also excluded from our warrantee.
This warrantee declaration does not limit the
legally determined rights of the user. Any
previous declarations regarding the granting
of the warrantee will be superseded.
The current version at the time of purchase is
applicable for the granting of the warrantee.
The warrantee only applies for 2- and 3-layer
parquet floorings from a thickness of 10 mm
on with the sealed surface Protect-Ultra. It
extends on the sole use in normally stressed
living areas except from wet areas such as
bathroom or sauna. The warrantee refers to
the above mentioned products which had
been installed past January 1st, 2007
The following warrantee conditions need to
be fulfilled in order to claim from BOEN Parkett
Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG resulting of the
word on guarantee:
Proper installation
Please thoroughly read our installation
instructions which are joined to the original
packaging before the installation.
Observe in particular the indications regarding
the humidity check of the sub-floor and
regarding the installation on floor heating
systems. Any warrantee claims presume that
the parquet flooring had been installed
following the attached guidelines for
installation solely with the authorized
installation materials (including the adhesive
for tongue and groove). In case of improper
installation this manufacturer warrantee will
not be granted.
Proper care and cleaning
You will find important notes regarding the
optimum cleaning and care in our cleaning
and care instructions. We advise you to use
only the recommended products. The
warrantee will only be granted if the flooring
is being cleaned properly and care is taken.
Proper maintenance of the surface coating
The surface sealing Protect-Ultra is a protective
layer for the top layer made of exotic wood
and is subject to standard wear when it is
being used. Therefore, the standard wear of
the surface coating does not represent a
warrantee claim. If the surface coating got
worn out, it needs to be rebuilt totally or
partially in order to guarantee the protective
function (grinding and new sealing, partial
grinding and / or finishing treatment). In order
to ensure the warrantee claims, the renewal
of the surface must only be performed by
qualified specialists with particular knowledge
in the field of surface treatment of parquet
floorings. There is neither a warrantee claim
for your proper actions nor regarding the ability
of a craftsman charged by you to remove or
change the coating or to remove dents or
scratches. The maintenance of the surface
coating in good time ensures a long durability
of your parquet flooring. In case of improper
maintenance of the surface coating, we will
not grant our manufacturer’s warrantee.

parties (e.g. transport damages).
If the defects according to this warrantee had
not occurred until the flooring had been
installed, BOEN reserves the right upon
acceptance of the warrantee either to perform
a detail repair of the defective area or to deliver
replacement material to the corresponding
parquet floorer free of charge.
If the defective product is no longer contained
in the range of products, BOEN will deliver a
replacement from the current range of parquet
floorings.
A warrantee claim does not lead to an
elongation of the warrantee term. The
negotiations between BOEN and the customer
in order to clarify a material defect between
BOEN and the customer is performed without
admitting any statutory duty.
In case of damage, please contact immediately
your parquet installer, the BOEN sales office
in your country or directly the company BOEN
Parkett Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG,
Industriestraße 41, D-23879 Mölln in writing,
however at the latest within 30 days upon
occurrence of the defect.
Please attach the original invoice and, if
possible, a photo of the damage to your report.
We will immediately repair your flooring upon
accepting the warrantee claim or we will
deliver you a replacement for the defective
area. If the product cannot be delivered any
longer, you will receive a replacement of the
same value. We will deliver the material free
of charge to your parquet floorer. You will only
bear the cost for the installation.
We reserve the right to inspect the damage
after an agreement on a suitable date on site
in order to check the warrantee conditions.
This guaranteeing additionally applies to the
legal warrantee rights and other rights of the
customer including the rights of the customer
towards the vendor.
Our 2- and 3-layer parquet flooring had been
checked and sorted by our quality inspectors.
If there are nonetheless any claims regarding
the sorting and/or visual defects, it is important
to inform us before installing the flooring. If
any damaged elements are installed, the
warrantee claims are being excluded. This
warrantee does not cover any
