The Applicants are responsible to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria, regarding educational qualifications, MMPE test, age and eyesight. Eligibility criteria for admission to the course are as per the guidelines issued of the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India and hence are not changeable. If any false / incorrect information furnished by the Applicant is detected at any stage, his/her candidature will not be considered and if selected, he/she will be removed from the training course and the entire course fees will be forfeited. Course fees, Advance Fees, Examination fees once paid, will not be refunded, partly or otherwise, under any circumstances. As the Applications are processed by a computerised system, it is essential that the application be forwarded strictly in accordance with the prescribed format. Duly filled in Application Form should have one photograph pasted and Demand Draft attached. Originals/photocopies of certificates etc. should not be sent with the Application Form. All fields in the Online Application Form should be filled with correct details and Application number should be noted by the candidate for all future reference. Candidates should possess at least Twelve (12) recent passport size photographs (front view) and these photographs only must be used on Application Form, Interview, Medical Examination, training etc. Any change of photograph will disqualify the Candidate. Candidates, at the time of reporting to the institute if not at the time of Interview, will be required to produce original copies of proof of age, Degree Certificate, HSC Certificate or equivalent, SSC Certificate or equivalent, where applicable from Govt. recognized board/universities. 10.
