Using a Custom Domain/SubDomain
In order to create a new subdomain for your mobile site (i.e. m.domain.com), sign in to
your account at your DNS provider's website. Typically, this is your registrar, or company
you bought the domain name from, e.g. GoDaddy, however in some setups it will be
your hosting provider. Go to the DNS management page. CNAME records may be in a
section called DNS Management or Name Server Management. You may have to enable
advanced settings to create a CNAME record. Please contact your DNS provider directly
if you can't locate the CNAME management options.
2. Create a new CNAME record with the following parameters:
Host: m (or any other subdomain)
Destination address: lb.gomobi.info.
3. Your CNAME record is now configured to point to goMobi. It can take up to 48 hours for
DNS settings to take effect.

Specific Provider Instructions
Creating a DNS CNAME differs from provider to provider - if you're having trouble settings
up your CNAME check if your provider is listed below.

Log in to your account at https://admin.1and1.com
If it's not already selected, click the Administration tab.
Click Domains. The Domain Overview page appears.
From the New drop-down menu, select Create Subdomain. (If you've already
created a subdomain for your website's address, skip to step six.)
Enter m and click OK.
Select the checkbox next to the subdomain. (Example: m.mydomain.com)
From the DNS menu, select Edit DNS Settings.
Click the radio button next to CNAME.
Next to Alias, enter lb.gomobi.info
Click OK.

Log in to your account at DNS Park.
On the left side, click DNS Hosting.
Click the domain you'd like to use with goMobi.
Since DNS Park is your hosting service, and not your domain registrar, be sure that
your domain points to DNS Park's nameservers.
Click Alias Records.
Under Host Name, enter m
Under Destination Name, enter lb.gomobi.info
Click Add Alias.

Log in to your account at www.enom.com.
From the drop-down menu at the Domains tab, select My Domain. You'll be directed
to the Manage Domains page.
Click the domain that you'd like to use with goMobi.
Click Host Settings.
To add a CNAME record, click NEW ROW. If you've already created a CNAME record
for the address, simply edit the existing CNAME record. Enter m for step one. As the
host name, enter lb.gomobi.info
Click Save.

Log in to your account at eurodns.com.
Click My Domains in the My Domains menu on the left side of the page. A table
listing your domains should appear.
Click the DNS column on the row of the domain you wish to change. The DNS records
for your domain should now be displayed.
From the Add... drop-down menu of the HOST NAME table, choose Host Alias and
click the Add button next to it.
In the Alias: field, add m
In the Host Name: field, add lb.gomobi.info
Click the Save Settings button.

Log in to your account at EveryDNS.net
On the left side, click the domain you'd like to use with goMobi.
Since EveryDNS.net is your hosting service, and not your domain registrar, be sure
that your domain points to EveryDNS.net's nameservers. This will allow your CNAME
record configuration to take effect.
Below Add a Record, you can create your CNAME record.
Next to Fully Qualified Domain Name, enter m
Select CNAME as the Record Type.
Enter lb.gomobi.info as the Record Value.
Click Add Record.

Click the Administration tab and then the control panel link.
Click the domain you want to manage and go to Technical Settings.
Click Manage DNS zone file.
Click Add an entry Name Fill in this field with m. Type Change this menu to CNAME.
Value Enter lb.gomobi.info
Click Submit.
You should be back to the list of entries. Click Submit Changes
GoDaddy
Log in to your account at www.godaddy.com
2. Open the Domains tab and select My Domain Names. You'll be directed to the
Domain Manager page.
3. Click the domain that you'd like to use with goMobi.
4. Click the Total DNS Control And MX Records in the box entitled Total DNS Control.
Note that adding entries to the Manage Subdomains section does not create a
CNAME record.

Click Add New CNAME Record in the box labelled CNAMES (aliases). If you've
already created a CNAME record for the address, click the marker icon under the
Actions column next to the existing CNAME record.
6. For the Name, enter the subdomain of the address you want to use for your goMobi
site. For example, if you picked m.example.com as your address, enter m here.
7. Enter lb.goMobi.info as the Host Name. Specify a TTL or use the default setting of 1
hour.
8. Click OK. In the Review and status box, you can see the results of your updates.

Log into Plesk
Under Hosting Services, click on Domains
Find the domain in question, and click on the corresponding link that says "Control
Panel" (on the far right side)
Click the "Websites & Domains" tab
Click the "DNS Settings" link
Click on "Manage" for the appropriate domain
To edit an existing record, click on the record under "Host"
Change the "Record type" to CNAME (if necessary)
For "Domain name", put in the subdomain you want to host (most likely will be 'm').
For "Canonical name", change it to lb.gomobi.info

According to lunarpages.com, you can contact the Helpdesk at

Adding Redirection code to desktop sites

Log in to the WebSite Tonight account [using the customers login credentials].
From the Design menu, select Launch Page Designer .
From the Page tab, go to the Properties menu, and then select Page.
Select the JavaScript tab
Add the code below to the box titled JavaScript for <head>. If there is already code in
the box do not delete it, simply add the code beneath it

A few things to keep in mind:
1. You need to use Internet Explorer or another browser to do this (when we tried with
Firefox, it was giving me a message saying the JavaScript was invalid)
2. The script is inserted on a per-page basis, not globally in the template. What this means
is that if you want the subpages to also redirect to the mobile site, you need to repeat
the operation for each page of the site. Considering sub-pages might appear separately
on search result, it would probably be a good idea to add the code to all the pages. In
order to be as user-friendly as possible, rather than using the main URL as destination on
all pages, you can customize it to deeplink to a specific page on a goMobi site, so that
e.g. the Contact us page redirects users to the corresponding Find Us page on the
goMobi site. This is easily achieved by replacing the "http://thegomobisite.mobi" with a
link like "http://thegomobisite.mobi/app/find-us/93597/2/".
Intuit’s site builder sites
The redirection code needs to be added to each page individually, very similarly to what happens
with the GoDaddy site builder:
