Using recurve bows and 1.3m targets participants will further develop their coordination and accuracy during the course of the activity. A variety of games will be played during the activity once the basic skills of getting in and out, rolling backwards and forwards and completing a 360 degree roll are attained. Participants will learn about fire making, risks and control measures required. Once prepared and settled for the evening the campfire will be lit and everyone can join in with the campfire songs, fun and laughter. Competing within teams each competitor will take part in each event, scores and achievements recorded and support their fellow team members through each event. Following on from a safety briefing where participants are encouraged to discuss the potential risks and hazards involved in club, distance and target sports. Participants will use a number of techniques and various clubs appropriate to the distance and area involved to complete the 9 hole course. A series of games will played and further skills will be developed by participants. Feedback and reviews will be used as an opportunity to assess performance and share opinions. An activity where there’s water but no need to get wet. Challenging participants to stay up and propel themselves the furthest across the pool. After a safety briefing where participants will discuss the associated risks, hazards, control measures and activity requirements. They will then learn the necessary techniques to allow them to travel down the Zip Wire and egress from the wire safely at the end of their turn.
