Fast and precise MPP tracking For us, sustainability also means harnessing an endless resource like sunlight efficiently. After all, it's only through efficiency that sustainability becomes profitable. Efficiency was therefore the guiding principle when designing our range of solar inverters. Incorporating a new circuit topology enabled us to increase efficiency levels over a wide input voltage range. Peak efficiency is now in excess of 98%, with European efficiency over 97%. These kinds of figures only lead to high yields if the MPP tracking optimally adjusts components to the ambient conditions. In order to achieve this we have developed a new, particularly fast and yet very precise MPP algorithm. On the basis of this algorithm, the MPP tracking efficiency reaches a top value of 99.9%.
