• WARNING: This product is not a smoking
cessation product and has not been tested
as such. This product is intended for use
by persons of legal age or older, and not by
children, women who are pregnant or
breast feeding, or persons with or at risk
of heart disease, high blood pressure,
diabetes, or taking medicine for
depression or asthma. Nicotine is
addictive and habit forming, and it is very
toxic by inhalation, in contact with the
skin, or if swallowed. Nicotine can
increase your heart rate and blood
pressure and cause dizziness, nausea, and
stomach pain. Inhalation of this product
may aggravate existing respiratory
conditions. Ingestion of the non-vaporized
concentrated ingredients in the cartridges
can be poisonous.

• WARNING: To reduce the risk of choking
or poisoning:
- Do not use the MarkTen® e-vapor device or
cartridge if the anti-tamper seal appears to
have been broken.
- Keep the MarkTen® e-vapor device and
components out of the reach of children.
- Dispose of MarkTen® e-vapor devices and
components properly. Refer to Disposal
Instructions for further details.
- Each cartridge contains nicotine. In the event
a cartridge or any other component is
ingested, call a Poison Control Center
immediately and do not induce vomiting.
• WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury:
- If your MarkTen® e-vapor device, cartridge or
battery appears to be leaking, do not use it.
If the liquid comes in contact with the skin or
eyes, wash with large amounts of water and
seek medical advice.
- Your MarkTen® e-vapor device contains no
user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to
open, service or repair the e-vapor device,
battery, chargers or cartridges; doing so may
cause electric shock, thermal burns or fire.
- Do not use, store or charge the MarkTen®
e-vapor device or its components on, in or
near heat sources such as radiators, stoves,
hot appliances or fires. High temperatures
may cause battery fluid leakage, thermal
burns, battery explosion or fire. Do not
dispose of battery in fire.
- The MarkTen® e-vapor device can be
recharged using only the MarkTen® e-vapor
USB charger. For best performance use the
MarkTen® USB charger with the MarkTen®
recharging accessories.
• WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury, do
not use your MarkTen® e-vapor device or
components if they:
- become wet or are immersed in any liquid.
- appear damaged or broken.
- have been exposed to excessive heat.
- are operating in an erratic manner.
- are unusually hot to the touch.
Instructions for use
FCC statement
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and
found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC
Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions: (1) This device may not cause
harmful interference, and (2) this device must
accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired
operation. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This
equipment generates, uses and can radiate
radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instructions, may
cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception (a) when charging, which
can be determined by disconnecting and then
reconnecting the device to the charging source,
or (b) when in use, which can be determined by
drawing on and ceasing to draw on the device,
the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following
measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the
equipment and receiver.
• If the equipment is connected to the charger,
then connect the equipment into an outlet on
a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
• Cease to use (i.e., cease drawing on) the
device.

Using your MarkTen®
e-vapor device
• Remove the MarkTen® e-vapor device from its
packaging.
• Place the e-vapor cartridge end in your mouth
and draw. This will activate your MarkTen®
e-vapor device.
• Each time you draw on the MarkTen® e-vapor
device, the red LED on the tip will illuminate
to indicate the product is working properly.
• When the battery needs to be recharged, the
LED will blink rapidly and repeatedly.
• When your e-vapor cartridge is almost empty,
you will notice a reduction in flavor and vapor.
Please replace the cartridge. The cartridge is
not refillable.

• To charge your MarkTen® e-vapor device
battery in a USB port:
- If the battery is connected to the e-vapor
cartridge, remove the battery by grasping the
cartridge firmly and turning the battery.
- Screw the battery into the e-vapor USB
charger.
- Insert the USB charger into a USB port.
The red LED on the battery will illuminate to
indicate the battery is charging.
- Once the battery is fully charged, the light
on the USB charger will turn green, letting
you know your battery is ready for use.
- Remove the USB charger from the USB
port, and remove the battery from the USB
charger by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Connect the MarkTen® cartridge to the
battery by turning the cartridge into the
battery.

AC wall adapter
• To charge your MarkTen e-vapor device
using a MarkTen® AC wall adapter:
- If the battery is connected to the e-vapor
cartridge, remove the battery by grasping
the cartridge firmly and turning the battery.
- Screw the battery into the e-vapor USB
charger.
- Insert the USB charger into the AC wall
adapter.
- Plug the AC wall adapter into a standard
120-volt wall outlet. The red LED on the
battery and the red LED on the USB charger
will illuminate to indicate charging.
- Once the battery is fully charged, the light
on the USB charger will turn green, letting
you know your battery is ready for use.
- Remove the AC wall adapter from the wall,
and remove the battery from the USB
charger by turning it.
- Connect the MarkTen® cartridge to the
battery by turning the cartridge into the
battery.

battery with the MarkTen®
car adapter
• To charge your MarkTen® e-vapor device using
a MarkTen® car adapter:
- If the battery is connected to the e-vapor
cartridge, remove the battery by grasping the
cartridge firmly and turning the battery.
- Screw the battery into the e-vapor USB
charger.
- Insert the USB charger into the car adapter.
- Plug the car adapter into an automotive
power port.
- The red LED on the battery and the red LED on
the USB charger will illuminate to indicate
charging.
- Once the battery is fully charged, the light on
the USB charger will turn green, letting you
know your battery is ready for use.
- Remove the car adapter from the automotive
power port, and remove the battery from the
USB charger by turning it.
- Connect the MarkTen® cartridge to the
battery by turning the cartridge into the
battery.
Replacing your MarkTen
cartridges
®
• To replace the e-vapor cartridge, grasp the
battery and cartridge firmly, and turn the
cartridge counter-clockwise to unscrew.
• Promptly discard the empty cartridge
responsibly to prevent injury or access
by children.
• Remove a new MarkTen® cartridge from
its packaging.
• Use only MarkTen® cartridges with your
e-vapor device.
• Screw the new cartridge onto the battery
by turning it counter-clockwise.
• Your MarkTen® e-vapor device is now ready
to use.
Handling and care information
• Clean MarkTen® e-vapor devices, cartridges,
batteries and chargers with a dry cloth.
• Keep MarkTen® e-vapor devices, cartridges,
batteries and chargers dry. Do not immerse
them in any liquid for cleaning.
• Store MarkTen® e-vapor devices, cartridges,
batteries and chargers in a clean, dry, cool
place. Do not store them in high temperatures
or near fire or flames.
• Do not leave MarkTen® e-vapor devices,
cartridges, batteries or chargers unattended
where children or pets could gain access to
them.
Disposal instructions
• Dispose of used MarkTen® e-vapor devices,
cartridges, batteries and chargers responsibly.
• Your MarkTen® e-vapor device contains a
Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. When
discarded, it must be recycled or disposed of
properly in accordance with state or local
requirements. Do not crush battery (e.g., such
as in a trash compactor). Do not dispose of
any part of this product in fire or flame. For
further information on recycling and disposal
of the battery, call 1.877.2.RECYCLE
(1.877.273.2925) or contact your local waste
management officials.
Troubleshooting
• No vapor when drawing and LED does not
illuminate:
- Recharge the battery.
- Replace the battery.
• No vapor when drawing and LED illuminates:
- Replace the e-vapor cartridge.
• No vapor when drawing and LED stays on for
2 seconds after draw:
- Ensure the battery/cartridge connection is
screwed together firmly.
- Replace the cartridge.
• Difficult to draw your MarkTen® e-vapor
device:
- Ensure the vent holes on the cartridge are
not covered.
• AC wall adapter is illuminated, but e-vapor
USB charger is not:
- Check that the USB charger is
completely/firmly connected the AC wall
adapter
- Replace the USB charger.
• AC wall adapter and USB charger are not
illuminated:
- Try another wall outlet.
- Replace the AC wall adapter.
• USB charger light never turns green:
- Replace the battery.
• Car adapter is illuminated but USB charger is
not:
- Replace the USB charger.
• Car adapter is not illuminated:
- Turn on your vehicle
- Ensure the automotive power port is working
properly.
- Replace the car adapter.

date. We warrant all other MarkTen® e-vapor
device components and accessories to function
properly for six months from the date of
purchase.
These warranties do not apply if the MarkTen®
e-vapor device, cartridges or accessories have
been modified, altered or repaired by any person
or company other than Nu Mark.
