ALTHOUGH THE BOAT WAS INITIALLY BUILT IN 1998 SHE WAS NOT PUT INTO USE
UNTIL 2002. THIS MEANS THAT THE ENGINE AND GENERATOR HOURS
ARE PARTICULARLY LOW. 'GIPSY' HAS BEEN IN CURRENT OWNERSHIP SINCE
COMMISSIONING.
Accommodation:
Aft deck:
This is a secure area from which to work the lines and stern anchor. Outside engine controls and
emergency steering. Wide steps up to the top deck. Locker under winch platform.
Headroom is more than 2m throughout.
Wheel House:
Access to Gipsy is gained via the full size steel aft door into the spacious wheel house which provides
excellent visibility and access to the engine beneath the steel floor panels. A table port-side which
drops down and 2 folding director chairs afford a convenient desk for breakfast facility and book
shelves. There is a chest fridge or freezer which is portable and powered by 230v or 12v. There is also a
cupboard under the wheel.
Saloon:
There’s a sliding door and 3 steps down to the saloon. This is a very nice airy space benefitting from a
Morso solid fuel burner. There is ‘L’ seating to an extendable moveable table. Three swivelling and
reclining blue leather chairs and a glass coffee table provide a flexible arrangement.
Galley:
There is a well-equipped ‘U’ shaped galley backing on to the saloon. It is fitted with stainless steel sink,
electric ceramic 4 place hob, microwave combination oven, washing machine, fridge and cupboards
with slide-out racks.
There is a sliding steel fireproof door to the corridor.
Corridor:
This leads to the stb side guest cabin.
Guest Cabin:
This is fitted with 2 single berths, drop down desk top and shelves. Wash basin with low level
cupboard. Door to a separate toilet (electric fresh water to holding tank). Shelves above electric fan
external ventilator.
Moving along the corridor to the stb side bathroom.
Bathroom:
With opening window and electric external ventilator. This is fitted with a compact bath with shower,
wash basin with low level cupboard, electric fresh water toilet to holding tank, bidet, storage cupboard,
and bulkhead mirror.
Master Cabin:
This is spacious and has a full width 5’ 6” bed with interior sprung mattress, bedside cabinets, large
wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Sliding steel door and 3 steps up to secure foredeck.
Foredeck:
This is a safe area from which to work the lines and anchor. There are 2 large steel cupboards aft
housing large water pump anchor winch batteries, lines and tools. There is a locker fwd housing chain
and spare paints.
Storage:
Generous storage under ‘L’ shaped seating in saloon, huge cupboard aft stbd corner of saloon, under
both single berths in guest cabin, under double bed in master cabin
Gipsy has wide step access to the roof which comes complete with a roof awning for summer
entertaining.
Gipsy is also fully double glazed with armoured glass. The wheel house window is hydraulic due to the
build quality of this boat. She is heavily built with 12mm bottom, 10mm chines, 8mm sides and 6mm
superstructure. She is ideal for living aboard and continental river/canal cruising. She will pass all
bridges on the Canal du Midi.

Engine room is under wheelhouse steel floor with access hatch and removable panels.
