The Siemens SIESTORAGE electrical storage system is ideally suited to various applications. It also provides a number of advantages, such as:

High availability and reliability

SIESTORAGE provides up to 95 percent availability during maintenance of one battery cabinet for a standard container thanks to independent battery strings. And there is no synchronization necessary because of the parallel connection on ac-side.

The black start capability of SIESTORAGE enables inde pendent micro grids. It can restore the power in case of an outage within a few milliseconds (hot standby) or a few seconds

(cold standby).

SIESTORAGE provides a reliable quality power supply and quick response in milliseconds with its cutting-edge power electronics.

Efficiency

SIESTORAGE offers saving potential up to 30 percent – with asset optimization. This depends on the application, which therefore has to be accurately assessed as the first step.

Eco-friendly

The black start capability enables the start up of a grid after an outage, independently from diesel generators.

SIESTORAGE ensures also the optimization of the diesel generation and the integration of renewables, thus reducing pollutant emissions.

Safety

SIESTORAGE provides a high degree of safety for personal and system operation. The dc power is limited and restricted to the smallest configurations in the complete system with individual battery modules. Safety is also provided through the use of qualified and proven battery technology.
