The concealed suspension system utilises a choice of two Omega bar profiles offering either standard or wide spanning capability. The strength of the Omega bar combined with a unique tile design allows the tiles to pivot and slide within the suspension system. This provides hinge-down access to large areas of the ceiling void for maintenance. Single or multiple tiles of up to 1500mm in length are available ready to install to span the central area of the corridor width. To allow for tolerance in the structure and avoid cut tiles, a plasterboard margin is used at the corridor perimeters. The interface between the tile and the plasterboard is achieved by using the aluminium extrusion TRU-SG-150. TRU-ST-150 provides a shadowgap detail between the plasterboard and the wall.
