According to a release made available to WHERE To Print magazine by the show
PR agent - White Water Public Relations, over 400 exhibitors from across 30
countries were present at this year’s show therefore contributing to the rapid
growth surge in the Sign and Graphic Industry sector in the region. “We are
delighted to state that SGI Dubai 2014 show has grown by approximately 20
percent this year. The industry in the Middle East is growing at a rapid pace and
we have seen a lot of interest from the exhibitors from across these regions.
Especially UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have created a huge demand within the
sign, graphic and imaging industry with several high-end malls, new airports,
industry exhibitions around the clock and launch of many other upscale clusters,”
said Mr. Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, Chairman of IEC.
“We are delighted to know that our exhibitors at the show have had a very good
response from the trade visitors. This indicates that there is a huge demand
within the Middle East and African markets and especially after Dubai’s Expo 2020
win – the markets have become more positive. This is a great indicator of the
sign of good times and also shows that the industry is growing at a faster pace as
compared to previous years,” added Mr. Falaknaz.
“Our exhibitors have pledged to be part of next year’s show which will be a much
larger event than this year. We are proud to say that we are the largest show in
this category across the Middle East and Africa region. Positive feedback from
our exhibitors also gives a lot of confidence to create another successful show
for them in 2015 at an even larger scale,” added Mr. Falaknaz.
Hewlett Packard, AGFA, EPSON, Canon, Fujifilm, Seiko, EFI, Colourjet India,
DIGIMatrix, Roland, Armada Digital, Flex-Europa Middle East, Signtrade and
several other global and regional brands showcased their latest products at the
event. DIGIMatrix Technologies was the Gold sponsor of the event.
Mr. Sharif also mentioned that “In addition to the printing and digital signage
sector, car enthusiasts in the UAE witnessed live car wrapping demonstrations.
Car wrapping was originally designed as a medium of creating mobile advertising.
The car wrapping industry has witnessed rapid growth in the UAE in recent years
and this market is very much in the growth phase and has a tremendous potential.
This medium definitely enables wide marketing outreach, and the effectiveness
of the advertising as well as its aesthetic appeal has been the reason behind the
recent surge in demand for car wraps”.
In a related development, IEC has announced that the SGI Dubai 2015 show will
be held from January 11th to 13th at the same Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai
United Arab Emirates.

ALIGNINGYOURBUSINESSWITH
PREDICTIONSTOSUCCEEDIN2014.
With over 50 years in the printing and publishing
industries, RIT lecturer and author - Dr. Frank
Romano is unarguably one of the best persons
to predict the future of printing and publishing
industries.
Yes, I agree with most of Dr. Romano predictions
like ‘Inkjet will continue to offer more alternatives
than we can deal with’ and ‘Quick printers will use
time travel to deliver jobs yesterday. Customers
will complain that this is not fast enough’, but the
question is: – have you take time to sit down to
review how your business faired last year? Which
projects or customers to maintain in 2014 - and
what plan to put in place in order to achieve 100%
success for 2014 (print) business year?
Unfortunately, planning alone will not be enough
to successfully reach your company’s objectives
for 2014. You have to also take care of your
co-workers because it is the team that has to
implement, control, and where necessary; correct
the business plan to meet objectives on schedule
and within budget. Therefore, your team’s human/
capacity development and effectiveness especially to bring about undiluted commitment
have to be established to make success
achievable this year.
And for other business tips to ensure your
success in 2014, turn to page 28 to discover FIVE
POWERFUL STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS IN 2014
in our SMEs MANAGEMENT & ACCOUNTING
ACCORDING TO FEMI column. Your health is also
an important part of your strategies for success
this year. That is why PRINTERS’ FOOD Column
is dedicating the first article in this year to
8
making you healthier. Turn to page 32 for: FOR A
HEALTHIER YOU IN 2014.
There are series of SPECIAL FEATURES
occasioned by the recent 17TH ANNUAL SIGN
& GRAPHIC IMAGING MIDDLE EAST 2014 (SGI
2014) held at Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai
UAE. WHERE To Print magazine covered the event
live! So check out our exclusives from page 2 with
one-on-one interview with Nigeria stakeholders
at the show (including pictorials); there are more
on pages 18, 28 and 38. There is also a SPECIAL
FEATURE on SIGN CHINA 2014 PREVIEW (page 29).
Our COVER this edition is a spotlight on IPEX 2014,
titled: IPEX 2014: SPOTLIGHT ON LONDON by Des
King. It’s a special on how prepared is London for
the world print community that will be descending
on UK soil for at the biggest print show in an
English speaking county.
Back to planning for success in 2014, I will finally
advise that you align your business plan to below
structure – in order to achieve the deliverables you
envisage this Business Year:
•
Plan your resources/ cost structure
•
Staff acquisition/ motivation plan
•
Quality control/ standards checks
•
Communication lines
•
Procurement process
•
Government regulation/ policies
Before we meet next edition, see you in London at

INAUGURATES PRACTICAL
PRINT ACADEMY
In a bid to make the print media industry
in Nigeria attractive to the coming
generation, a print academy is to be
formally launched in the second quarter
of 2014 to also get the upcoming youths
as well as present operators trained on
technical and practical aspect of print
business.
Being put together by select print
stakeholders in the country in
conjunction with experts abroad,
WHERE To Print magazine can
authoritatively reveal that the print
academy to be located in Lagos - the
commercial nerve centre on Nigeria - is
already at advance stage of formation.
It was also exclusively gathered that
only international best practices on
curriculum, academia and structure will
be adopted to afford a base for standard
practice of print business in Nigeria.
According to a key stakeholder – who
prefers to remain anonymous till the
academy is birthed - the print academy
will only train and pass down the right
skills and attitude that will help develop
the industry in Nigeria thus discourage
brain drain. “The print academy will
serve as training centre for existing
print business owners who need
modern and practical print training
for their prepress, press, post-press
and digital prints operators”, he noted
while also revealing that the school
would also serve as the first port of call
for workforce for the industry where
provision of capacity and technical
development for anyone attracted to
the printing profession. “It will also
offer complementary developmental

training and career development for
those already in the print profession and
promote and stimulate standard and
good work ethics. Making sure print is
done right by bringing European experts
to help improve our processes and
creativity”.
WHERE To Print also gathered that
while majority of the facilitators will
be industry experts in their specialised
fields, the academy will enter into
high level alliances and collaboration
with printers, instructors, experts and
organisations from around the world for the purpose of giving exposure to
Nigeria print stakeholders; students,
printing staffs and management alike.
In the meantime, the academy will run
quarterly full time printing courses
and also have periodic seminars, short
courses and workshops. For more
information on the academy, watch out
for the next edition of WHERE To Print

SENSITIZES PRINTERS,
OTHERS ON LEGAL DEPOSIT
DirectorofNationalLibrary-Mallam
AbeebAbaNato
National Library of Nigeria - as part of
her sensitization programme recently
held a seminar in Ibadan, the Oyo State
Capital to enlighten publishers, printers
and authors on the need to make legal
deposit of any publish work done in
the country with the National Library
Offices across the country.
Speaking at the event, Director of
National Library - Mallam Abeeb Aba
Nato said the aim of the legal deposit
was to gather comprehensive list of
any literary journals, books or titles
published in Nigeria and preserve for
present and future generations. He
thereby urged those concern to start
to deposit their publish works with any
National Library close to them to avoid
facing the wrath of law.
Guest speaker at the event - Professor
Remi Raji informed stakeholders that
legal deposit at the National Library
was regarded as the physical bank of
national intellect which can be dated
back to early 1950’s in Nigeria. He
also enjoined stakeholders in printing,
publishing and literary sectors to see
legal deposit as a means of collecting
and cataloguing intrinsic intellectual
values and acquisition of literary
works – not only for easy access to the
general public but more importantly –
preservation of intellectual works.

Apart from our versatile EFI™ VUTEk® digital
superwide printers that print at exceptional high
quality for greater profitability, we also offer a range
of machines such as the flatbed cutter, the high speed
printer Vortex, and the indoor printer MUTOH. The
latest machine we have is the Vortex printer which is
the fastest water-based ink printer in the world. We
feel it is the biggest innovation at the (SGI 2014 Dubai)
show. It’s the fastest digital printer on the market.
It can print 130 meter in less than 4 minutes with
resolution up to 1600x1600dpi. This is great for indoor
printing for various different applications such as;
graphic campaigns for energy, telecommunications,
banking, and elections, as well as engineering drafting.
We have financing options to our customers. We can
meet and discuss the specifics with the clients and
their needs to search for ways to help.

marketin2014?
Nigeria has always been our key region. That is why
in this year, we want to increase our sales and service
portfolio with competent and high calibre technical
team. We know that it’s of no use to only have good
machines without back-up. So we are expanding our
technical team to respond and handle our customers’
queries 24/7.
We are coming aggressively this year with our
structure there. We are planning a seminar this year in
order for the market to be familiar with our products.
We believe what makes a strong product is the
service and we believe we have the best service and
equipment. We also plan to have open house and take
part in the Propak West Africa 2014 exhibition in Lagos.
ABOUTUS
The essence is collaboration, we at SAGA Digital
strongly believe in after sale service, which is why our
focus is equally placed on service as much as on the
products we represent. Going with the industry trend
and needs, we pick what we feel are the pioneers in
the industry, to partner with. For our printer line, we
are happy to be working with EFI.
EFI has 2 ranges of wide format printers, the entry
levels and the legendary VUTEK, for its high production
line. With VUTEk, EFI has developed printers that can
easily replace many of the screen line need. We are
also thrilled to offer EFI’s new line of equipment for the
labels and packaging industry, the JETRION industrial
inkjet systems.
SAGA looks for ways to help our clients expand their

For the Specialty media, we collaborate with Ilford - a
specialty media supplier, who is very well known in the
photo industry. The market has a vast number of great
suppliers of vinyl, banner, flex, textile for our industry,
but there are some specialty items that are not easily
found, so we decided to supply our clients with this
media, to give them the ability to always have the extra
edge over their competitors.
For the digital inks, SAGA is carrying its own brand
of inks for virtually all the wide and superwide format
digital printers. In addition, we are able to get digital
inks for many other specialty digital printers such as
marking, garments and many others.
In this new age of public advertising, we bring to the
market a large range of products in the Digital Media,
from the hardware to the software as well as the

COVER STORY - COMMENTARY & ANALYSIS
IPEX2014:SPOTLIGHT
ONLONDON
ByDesKing,journalistandmarketingconsultantfromTheWriteStuff
Ipex, the UK’s flagship print and communications event will be reunited with the nation’s capital city when it opens its doors at the custombuilt ExCeL International Exhibition & Convention Centre in London’s Docklands in March 2014.
centre is equally, if not more, accessible to passengers
on longer-haul flights from North America and Asia
Pacific. Able to transfer straight into City airport via
European hubs at Frankfurt and Schiphol (Amsterdam),
ExCeL is barely a five-minute cab ride or a shuttle bus
away, with easy transport links to and from London
Heathrow Airport.
London has always enjoyed an iconic international
status, where its rich and varied history sits alongside
global business. Progressive redevelopment and
investment of infrastructure continues to keep London
at the centre of the global community. The addition
of ExCeL in London’s Docklands, new rail, road and
air transport links, the incursion of both the financial
services and media sectors, as well as the enduring
legacy of the £9bn investment in London’s 2012
Olympic and Paralympic Games, has transformed the
area into the City’s commercial heartland.
Open for business
Whilst London is still every bit as much the home of
heritage landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, The
Houses of Parliament and ‘Big Ben’, the London of the
21st century is now ranked as one of the world’s most
preferred cities in which to stage meetings and events.
And, as one of the world’s top three financial centres,
London continues to attract business visitors from
outside the UK, who now contribute 27% of London’s
overseas tourism economy; just short of £3bn
per annum.
London is now geared to facilitate Ipex’s smooth
transition back to the capital. The ExCeL exhibition
centre itself is located at the heart of an integrated
infrastructure tailored to meet the requirements of the
international business community.
Sharing a specific affinity with the broadening media
and cross-channel interests represented within the
evolving Ipex community itself is London’s fastdeveloping ‘Tech City’ digital hub: populated by a
dynamic mix of blue-chip IT and social networking
players such as Microsoft, Cisco, Facebook, Google
and entrepreneurial start-ups, and the recipient of a
UK Government £50m development grant.
Today, there are over 23,000 IT companies based
throughout London; more than in any other European
city. Equally in tune with the Ipex community
is London’s highly developed creative media
communications sector spearheaded by some of the
worlds’ most innovative and respected advertising
agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, Euro RSCG,
Ogilvy and Leo Burnett. Directly employing over
400,000 designers, programmers and copywriters, the
city’s creative industries collectively generate annual
revenues of almost £20bn, and are already playing a
key role in shaping Ipex’s onward evolution.
Says Ipex Event Director Trevor Crawford, ‘In our
predominantly digital world, print is continuously
adapting to compete against an ever-expanding menu
of communications technologies. This has been a key
24
Wheretoprint | VOL.6 / NO.29 | JANUARY 2014
strategic factor for including a cross media production
focus on multi-channel messaging media as an
integral part of Ipex 2014.’
With over 40% of the city’s working population
not British-born and over 300 different languages
habitually spoken on a daily basis, London provides
a unique office from office environment, which
according to London’s Mayor Boris Johnson, ‘the
best European if not global city in which to do
business.’ Arguably the city’s greatest ambassador,
this current Mayor is also a regularly published print
and broadcast media journalist who is naturally taking
great interest in welcoming Ipex visitors and exhibitors
back to the nation’s capital city in March, branding it
‘the Olympics of the global Printing Industry'
A centre of ExCeLlence
If London is the best UK city for business, then ExCeL
has likewise developed as the country’s best venue
in which to do it, boasting events as diverse as the
London Boat Show and the world travel market to
staging many Olympic and Paralympic events. In
the six years since it opened, the venue has almost
doubled its size to 100,000 m² following its acquisition
by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company
(ADNEC).
ExCeL’s two halls are centrally connected by a
boulevard running the entire length of the complex,
providing free and reliable Wi-Fi and containing 40
bars, restaurants and eateries. For a major event
like Ipex, the boulevard, which will host ‘Inspiration
Avenue’, will become very much part of the event and
part of the Ipex community experience.
Trains and boats and planes
An essential part of ExCeL’s appeal is the immediately
adjacent commercial and retail network that has
evolved in tandem. Ipex visitors will be instantly
struck by the marked contrast in exterior ambience
with other exhibition centres regularly utilised on the
international graphic arts event circuit.
In addition to the profusion of local food service and
retail outlets grouped around the traffic-free walkways
right outside the ExCeL, the £1.6bn Westfields
shopping centre is only a ten-minute ‘tube ride’ away;
accommodating over 40bn visitors a year - and for
those who might be feeling lucky, housing the UK’s
biggest casino.
ExCeL is also arguably easier to get to and from than
any other major venue too. In addition to its direct
links with six UK-based international airports, the
Upgraded rail transport has been one of the most
immediate and beneficial legacies accruing through
the staging of the Olympic Games increasing the
capacity of the Docklands Light Railway network
(DLR) by 50% – within which ExCeL has its own two
dedicated stations (Custom House and Prince Regent)
– and the ‘Javelin’ connecting nearby Stratford
International, just a single-stop train ride away from
ExCeL, to the Eurostar rail terminal at St Pancras. A
more leisurely route to ExCeL from central London
(Chelsea Harbour) that Ipex visitors should definitely
consider taking is the 40 minute boat ride via the
River Thames.
Whichever mode of transport you opt to take, make
London your oyster quite literally by arming yourself
with the smartcard of the same name. Aside from
saving you the time and trouble of juggling a foreign
currency, a pre-purchased Oyster card
(www.oystercard.com) swiped at the point of entry
and exit of any bus, boat, tube or train will see you
safely on your way – and at almost half the standard
cost of travel.
O2 be in London ... at ‘Ipex City’
Many overseas visitors to world-class trade events
like Ipex held in London habitually extend their stay for
additional business after the exhibition has concluded;
often also returning with their families to enjoy the
unparalleled leisure and entertainment opportunities
that London famously offers to all its annual 16m +
tourists alike. There are 14,000 hotel rooms within the
immediate vicinity of ExCeL which have been reserved
exclusively for Ipex visitors to book, with overall
capacity throughout the city now in excess of 120,000
beds.
On the south bank of the river stands the O2 Arena,
which will be the hub of ‘Ipex after hours’: one of the
world’s busiest and most successful entertainment
venues, and accessible from the alternate side of
ExCeL London via the Emirates airline sponsored
cable-car system. With a crossing every 15 seconds,
each cable car traverses the river at a height of 90
metres on a 10 minute journey which affords a unique
view of London’s transformed docklands.
The must-play venue for every world class music
act, the O2 also houses over 20 different bars and
restaurants catering to all tastes; its own elevenscreen multiplex cinema incl. the largest 3D viewing
image in Europe; and a unique permanent museum
celebrating the history of British popular music.
It’s that ease of accessibility belying London’s big city
status that makes a visit such an enjoyable experience
24/7. The Houses of Parliament, Covent Garden and the
City’s renowned West End are all less than 30 minutes
away, while back at ‘Ipex City’, there’s cold beer on tap
in the ExCeL boulevard and a wealth of opportunities
for eating, relaxing and networking once the show’s
closed in the evening right here in the immediate
vicinity of the centre – now popularly being referred to
as the ‘Neustadt’!

has to offer.

COMPASSIONATELEADERSHIP
Sir Branson suggests that instead
of tracking down mistakes, you
can begin to search for employee
successes. As you strive to praise
someone for good performance
every day, you will foster an
environment of productivity and
success rather than one that is
laden with the fear of failure.
DEALINGWITHSUCCESS
Once they become successful,
many businesses turn their
attention to profits and away from
what set them apart in the first
place. Sir Branson suggests; “If
you are mulling over expansion,
tell all your employees about your
plan…and ask for their input.”
It’s important that you remind
yourself of what makes your
business special.
•
DELEGATION
Sir Branson says that it is
important to see how well your
business functions without you.
“When your team is in place and
the launch phase is over, take
the time to conduct a test to see
how well the company performs
without your help. This can be
a very revealing exercise: It will
show you where the problems are
and, most important, how well you
have learned to delegate.”

As you follow your own course to

that you apply these guiding principles to
help you establish a long-lasting practice.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH AGFA
‘:AVALONB8OFFERSYOUACUSTOMIZEDCTP

-AGFA
First, why the :Avalon B8 CTP?
It is actually due to the request by our channel
partners in Nigeria. It offers you a customized CtP
solution that responds to your needs. We are looking
at the future by going green. We want to reduce
chemical use on our environment. This will have
positive effects on the environment, our customers,
their operations and the users. We are reducing the
effects of chemical on our operation and it’s a great
advantage to our customers because they will not only
make more money, but will also contribute to saving
our environment. Let’s go back a little in history. In
digital analogue, we sold over 1.6 million tonnes of film
in Nigeria. There is a market but we are looking at the
future by going green. We want to reduce chemical
use and help our customers meet their needs in terms
of cost, operations, and their print effects on the
environment.
What about the durability and after sales support
for the new B8 machine?
AGFATeam-Akin,Thibault,andMr&MrsOdukale
At the just concluded 17th Annual Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East (SGI
2014) held at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE from 7th to 9th January 2014,
WHERE To Print caught up with AGFA Team at their stand to know about their
offerings specifically for the Nigerian market. We spoke with Mr. Thibault
Dejaiffe – Agfa Graphics Regional Business Manager, GS/ Sales Direct Export,
Mr. Akin Oduwole – MD/ CEO – Technology Global Services Limited and Mr.
and Mrs. Bankole Odukale - Chairman/ CEO and Executive Director - Bancod
Limited. Excerpt:
We don’t joke with quality. Agfa only offers quality
imaging and proofing systems, consumables, workflow
software and digital printing solutions to help our
customers achieve their business objectives. Though
the B8 CTPs are assembled in China, they go through
extensive quality checks and control before they are
certified for use. We cherish our reputation and name.
We also have formidable dealers in Bancod Limited
and Technology Global Services Limited. Bancod
will handle consumables while Technology Global
will handle services and parts. Importantly, these
machines are compact with less components so they
don’t break down easily. They also require less space
so our customers will save on rent.
What about the cost?
The B8 CTP is very affordable. We will also offer
payment plan for customers that are reliable and
committed.
When will it be in Nigeria?
We plan to have 15 units in Nigeria in 2014. Already,
within the next few months, two will be in Nigeria. One
at TTK Press as a demo unit while the second will be
exhibited at Propak West Africa 2014 in September
this year.
What’s the new development on AGFA operation
in Nigeria?
We are reinforcing the Inkjet operation. That is, we
are extending the portfolio of Bancod and Technology
Global by adding the Inkjet. This is because they
have performed well. For example, we take our after
sales service very seriously. And with Technology
Global having 16 engineers now, eight of which are
for prepress and the rest eight dedicated to Inkjet, we
have a formidable team we believe can handle our
customers in Nigeria.
Last word…
I want our customers in Nigeria to cooperate with
Bancod and Technology Global. They should take
advantage of our new product offerings and start
ordering now. Buy Agfa because we have the best
support for Nigeria and our customers can count
on us.

1.Drinklotsofwater:Water is said to be the
best beverage. Don’t overlook the health benefit
in drinking enough water that will help your body
function adequately. Water Can Help Control Calories.
This is a great way of getting into shape this year.
Always drink water in-between food and you will
become full faster thereby reducing your calorie
intake. Water also helps your kidney by providing
enough fluid to cleanse the body of toxins. You will
notice that when you're getting enough fluids, urine
flows freely, it is light in colour and free of odour.
When your body is not getting enough fluids; urine
concentration, colour, and odour increase. Water also
prevents constipation by helping your bowel function
properly. Ensure you take enough fibre too.
Recommended daily intake of water: As you know
’’Too much of a good thing is bad’’. Therefore drinking
too much water is dangerous for your health. The
European Food Safety Authority recommends that
women should drink about 1.6 litres of fluid and men
should drink about 2.0 litres of fluid per day. That's
about eight 200ml glasses for a woman and 10 200ml
glasses for a man.
According a research by BBC on the increase in
obesity worldwide, the overweight and obese adults
in the developing world have almost quadrupled to
around one billion since 1980. Due to this, the report
predicts a huge increase in heart attacks, stroke and
diabetes.
2.Eat5servingsoffruitsandvegetables:Fresh fruits
and vegetables contain pure nutrients in their natural
state. They have not been altered whatsoever by
processing. Try to eat about 5 servings of fruits and
vegetables daily to keep your immune system strong.
In a recent research by PRINTERS FOOD Team,
majority of those that participated said they don’t eat
enough fruits because fruits are expensive in Lagos.
But we also discovered that a well planned budget
will definitely help you eat more of these best snacks
available. Between N4, 000 - N5, 000 per person in
a month will surely do this. I will tell you how - in

And there will be repercussions
This signifies that the problem of unhealthy eating is
not about not having enough money to eat healthy
foods. The answer is vice-versa. In fact the research
gathered that the majority of the above increase was
seen in developing countries where incomes were
rising. It is therefore concluded that ‘People with
higher incomes have the ability to choose the kind of
foods they want’ - which if care is not taken could lead
to obesity in a couple of years.
3.Eatmorewhole-wheatbread:The white commercial
bread is one of the most unhealthy foods you can
eat. The white flour will make your sugar level to rise.
Ensure you eat wheat bread as much as possible to
benefit from the nutrients. Don’t eat white bread on a
regular basis because they don’t have much nutrients
to offer – they are only empty calories. The only
commercial wheat bread that I have seen so far in
Lagos is from MAMACASS. So help yourself with more
of it if you love eating bread.
There will be temptations
There are so many temptations these days that may
make you compromise your decision of eating healthy.
However be determined that you will eat more of the
healthy stuff.

4.Reduceyourintakeofsugarydrinks: You need to
reduce your intake of sugary drinks this year for a
healthier you. Weight gain, diabetes, impaired immune
system are some of the side effects of consuming too
much sugar. Some people cannot really call each day
a day without gulping down a bottle of Coke or Pepsi
after lunch. According to nutrition experts, drinking
large quantities of cola and other sugary soft drinks
could lead to muscle problems, an irregular heartbeat,
tooth decay and bone weakness or softening of the
bone which occur when the potassium levels in the
blood drop too low.
5.Swapvegetableoilwitholiveoil:When I was
young, someone told me about this woman popularly
known as Iya London that cooks with Olive oil. I
wondered because I thought the only reason you
should buy an olive oil is to take it to church for
anointing service. Now I know better. I made this
decision some years back - and the benefits are so
much, so I thought I should share this with you. Olive
oil contains mono-unsaturated fats which help lower
LDL-cholesterol in the blood. Vegetable oils however,
translate into trans fats, which leads to heart disease
and compromised cholesterol levels. Goya oil is the
common one in Nigeria, but be sure you get it from a
reliable shop. You could get other good brands from
big superstores, however try one first and see the way
it is before you continue to buy it.
6.Eatmorebeans:The only reason why you should
not eat beans everyday is because of farting. Beans
are an inexpensive source of protein that can be very
versatile. They are high in fiber which helps to fill
you up so you eat fewer calories; making it easier to
maintain a healthy weight. It also helps keep the heart
healthy.
Overall, ensure you eat wholesome and well prepared
meals and fruit snacks. If you have any question
on how you can eat healthy or you are concerned
whether your food is healthy or not, do send me a mail
via flourishcaterers@yahoo.comorSMSONLY–0806663-3815. Have a healthier you this year 2014!
