PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
New construction eight inch vertical compact fluorescent down light, for use with one quad or
triple tube lamp. Use in non insulated ceilings, where insulation can be kept 3" from fixture,
and 1/2” from adjacent building components. Adheres to the minimum lumens to watts ratio
that qualifies to Energy Star.
CONSTRUCTION
Plaster Ring
Pre-wired architectural quality .050 galvanized steel ring, riveted to an elevated junction box.
DIMENSIONS
Mounting
Plaster ring has two universal mounting brackets that adjusts 3-1/8" vertically. Accepts flat
bar hangers (ordered separately), C-Channel or 1/2" EMT conduit pipe. Accommodates up to
a 5/8" thick ceiling.
Socket Cup
Galvanized steel socket cup with one, 4-pin socket. The socket cup attaches to the finishing
trim easily. Three positions are available to move the lamp up or down into the reflector
enabling the user to orient the lamp at the optical focal plane of the reflector for precise
optics and optimum performance.

Electronic - Universal
Thermally protected, electronic high power factor, single tap input voltage ranging from 110V
– 277V, 0.358Ampere - 0.1552Ampere,50/60Hz with end of life protection. Class P, 42Watts
maximum.

Trim
Baffle is precision spun .050 aluminum with deep grooves to reduce aperture glare. Baffle
has a non-reflective matte black or white painted finishes. Open reflector precision spun .050
aluminum high grade specular finishes white self flange or low iridescent Alzak® with white
or matching self flanged. Three slots at the top of the reflector allow for lamp positioning.
Available in a variety of designer colors.
