strategy Ormazabal purchased U/S
based Current in 2013. Current has
been operating in the Australian
market since 2009 and actively
involved on a range of projects with
local utilities. This recent acquisition
strengthens Ormazabal business
lines across key parts of future
electrical networks: smart metering
solutions, low- and medium-voltage
network monitoring and value added
data analysis systems and products.
The net benefit for utilities across Asia
Pacific is that Ormazabal can now
truly provide an end to end smart grid
solution across all key linkages of the
