It has one of the best actors of 2015 and has a good, believable storyline. The movie was a major release, with lots of people getting tickets since it came out. It was a bit like the movie Gravity, because they were both about people isolated because of a disaster in space. The Martian was filled with plot twists and surprises that make you feel sympathy for the character. The movie was a good representation of the book. The movie was full of plot holes, though it didn’t really explain a lot about the background of how he got there or what happens before they got on Mars. The explanation of relationships between the characters could also be added to. The people down on earth and on the spaceships were often overshadowed by the plot and we only saw Mark Watney for who he was. Overall, It was a movie worth watching.
