DT-RLC Lock Control Interface DT-RLC is designed to control multiple locks on 2-wire series systems • Allows operation of two electric locks • Locks with power consumption up to 450mA can be powered via RLC • Unlocking time is configurable • Connected Exit Button will be timed • Can be used with either House or Apartments systems 2. Can be used to power the lock S2 : Reserved S1 : Exit button contact. Short this contact and the GND to unlock GND : The common Ground of the other 3 contacts: S1, S2 and +12V -1- NC : Normally-closed contact to COM COM : Common contact of the unlock relay NO : Normally-open contact to COM Lock Control Jumper : To set the lock type (see section 5.6) POWER : Indicator will light up when powered IN-USE : Indicator will light up when unlocked BUS : Connect to the bus line, no polarity DIP :Used for setting the address of the RLC. 2. How to set unlocking time 1) Power-on and within 5 seconds short-circuit S2 and GND for up to 3 seconds. INUSE indicator will flash 2) Short-circuit S1 and GND for up to 3 seconds again. IN-USE indicator steady light 3) Short-circuit S2 and GND. IN-USE indicator starts flashing once per second. Each flash equals one second of unlocking time. Maximum unlocking time programmable is 30 seconds 4) Release S2 when desired time is reached. It will save programming and exit -2- 4. DIP Switches Settings DIP switches are used to set the address of the RLC.
