They may cause allergic dermatitis, cough, wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness. Ingestion of Nickel dust in large amounts may affect blood, heart, thyroid and spleen. Local Effect: Prolonged and repeated contact with Nickel may cause skin sensitization.
