Power resistors equipped with a fuse are essential for limitation of initial current for compressor motors. Precharging resistor To protect the on-board electronics against overvoltage, power resistors are utilised in modern vehicles for a controlled initial start. Brake resistor (lifts) One typical use case of brake resistors is for application in hoisting units. These include particularly lifts for persons and loads.
