General  Guidelines  for  Citing  STAT!Ref    

 

Bibliographic  Citations  

Citations  for  use  in  research  papers  can  be  generated  by  using  the  Bibliographic  Citations  feature  at  the   bottom  of  every  STAT!Ref  document.  You  can  export  citations  suitable  for  use  in  either  RefWorks  or  

EndNote.

AMA  Manual  of  Style  

For  eBooks,  the  format  is  the  same  as  the  print  book  plus  additional  information  at  the  end  of  the   reference  indicating  the  location  of  the  material.  For  other  eBook  variations,  such  as  a  book  chapter,   follow  the  format  for  the  print  version  and  just  add  the  URL  and  accessed  date  at  the  end.

Author.  Title  of  book.  Volume  number  and  volume  title  [if  applicable].  Edition  number  [if  applicable].  

Place  of  publication.  Publisher.  Year  of  Publication.  URL  ( https://online.statref.com/xxxxxxxxx ).  Date  of   access.  

APA  Style:  Using  Principles  of  APA  Style  to  Cite  and  Document  Sources  

The  reference  list  entry  for  an  e-­‐book  includes  the  author,  date,  title,  and  source  (URL).  For  a  chapter  in   an  e-­‐book,  include  the  chapter  title  and  page  numbers  (if  available).

Author,  A.  (date).  Title  of  book.  Retrieved  from  https://online.statref.com/xxxxxxxxx

Chapter  in  an  e-­‐resource:

The  in-­‐text  citation  includes  the  author  and  date,  as  with  any  other  APA  Style  citation.
