Experience: The founding partners of Heartland have over 125 years of combined manufacturing
experience. They know RVs and are passionate about what they do - taking the advice and input from
experienced RVers and designing some of the most innovative fifth wheels on the market!
Commitment to our Customers: At Heartland, we provide the best customer service possible.
Heartland monitors the pulse of our customer’s needs through feedback via shows, plant tours, phone
calls, e-mails, owners forum, rallies and letters. This information is given to the Heartland management
team daily to discuss improvement opportunities now, not later.
Innovation: Heartland focuses on next generation engineering. Our improved turning radius, universal
docking centers and unmatched storage are testaments to our innovation. We are never content to rest
on past achievements and we continually search for creative solutions to customer desires. Heartland
stays ahead of market challenges by developing better components for overall quality and safety.
Serviceability: Big Country was designed for quick and easy diagnostic of vital parts and components.
Each coach has labeled lines and connections. In addition, we have EZ-lube axles, a quick removable
access panel for the water pump, water heater, and power converter featuring blown fuse indicators.
Quality: With more comprehensive testing and quality control standards and testing in place throughout
the production process, Big Country has set the standard in quality. Heartland has a simple philosophy,
“If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right the first time.”
We CARE: At Heartland, customer satisfaction is our number one goal and we constantly strive to
satisfy our owners needs.

ADVANTAGE:

Heartland’s history and track record of product innovation started with our
engineering department. Heartland does not believe in cutting corners. While
some billion dollar RV companies have only one or two engineers on staff,
Heartland actually had two engineers among our first ten employees, and
now we have an engineer dedicated to each line. High tech computer aided
design (CAD) systems allow for 3-D modeling to turn collective imagination
into innovation. Prototypes and mock-ups are typically built based on the CAD
data. This goes a long way toward preventing problems before they arise.
Big Country engineers help build a superior product for reasons that may
not always be easy to see, but are very easy to appreciate down the road.
Designed by women for
women: How many times
have you heard a women say
"who designed these interiors,
a bunch of men?" Most RV
companies don't put a lot of time and money into how interiors are chosen.
Usually, their interior is a last minute decision picked by salesmen solely based
on what's the cheapest, how fast he can get it and would he put it on his favorite
recliner. Big Country separates itself from this crowd by investing a great deal
of time and money into a professional team of women designers whose sole
job is to create high-quality residential styles with thoughtful color-coordinated
themes. Our experienced designers work out of a 2,000 sq ft design facility
that stocks thousands of decor samples direct from vendors, so that the best
materials and selections are exclusive to our customers. This also allows the design team to create professional top to bottom
decor mock-ups of entire interiors so we can get real retail feedback and make any necessary tweaks before they’re released to
the market.

By redesigning both the steel frame and the way that the
front fiberglass cap integrates with the frame, Heartland’s
engineers have been able to virtually eliminate the
problems typically associated with towing a fifth wheel with
a short-bed, extended-cab truck – all without having to
invest in an expensive and clumsy slider hitch system.

Aerodynamic Gel Coated, Dent-Resistant Front & Rear Fiberglass Caps.
Today’s fuel costs are at an all time high and change daily with world politics.
Big Country’s exclusive patented front cap design has resulted in a huge leap in
the combination of aerodynamics and turning radius widening the gap between
Heartland and the competition. Science has shown the teardrop shape is the
best configuration for fuel efficiency. The low end point is lower than the height
of the cab on the tow vehicle, allowing it to cut right through the air.

B
ADVANTAGE: FUEL EFFICIENCY
Statistics show the rear end of a fifth wheel
can either create a significant amount of
wind drag – or it can actually assist the
tow vehicle in slicing or drafting through
the wind. The Big Country rear cap is
aerodynamically designed with smooth,
flowing lines and built-in wind sweeps.
In addition, the enclosed underbelly helps
eliminate wind drag because the air flows
unimpeded from beneath the truck to
beneath the fifth wheel and out the back.
Professional transport drivers who haul our
units typically report 2-3 miles per gallon
better pulling Big Country than other luxury
fifth wheels. THAT IS A FANTASTIC 15-20%
FUEL SAVINGS! Aerodynamics, excellent
weight distribution and upgraded suspension
affords you the best towing available.
THE LOOK OF PAINT...
THE PRICE OF WHITE:
Big Country's Gold Edition provides the
high end looks of full body paint without the
added cost.
The Fiberglass is also

PAINTED CAPS:
Enjoy the beauty, durability and
easy maintenance of painted caps.
Painted caps look great setting you

PEX PLUMBING

RELIABLE:
Pex tubing system's COLOR-CODED waterlines are extremely
flexible and durable, providing a virtually continuous water line
system throughout the Big Country by eliminating many 90 degree
turns and elbows that create water leaks. Most plumbing systems
only guarantee the material, but the makers of Pex tubing system
actually guarantee a leak-free connection because of the specially
designed air tools and clamping system. Pex tubing also has a
structural memory. When a line becomes pinched or kinked, a
simple heat gun (at 180°) will restore it back to its original shape.
• All lines are color coded for quick identification
• Thicker wall tube insulates and reduces condensation
• Fittings & connections guaranteed against leaks.
• Tube guaranteed against leaks
• Tested to withstand freezing and cracking at -40° C
•Made of non-toxic materials that leave no
chemical residue in your drinking water
Big Country constructs the plumbing network with top grade
materials and methods similar to residential housing. The water
lines are capped and tested for leaks using air at 80 P.S.I. before
final hookup. The system is then hooked up and re-tested again,
using water, assuring the consumer a trouble-free plumbing
system.

ADVANTAGE:

Wireless Convenience:
1. With remote control landing gear you
can adjust the height of your coach
from the drivers seat of your truck
while you’re hitching up.
2. With wireless remote control rear stabilizer jacks you’re not
tied down to holding a switch. You can deploy the jacks while
walking around your rig setting up camp.
3. With wireless remote control you can run in the awning from
your neighbor’s site if it gets windy, or run it out just to show off!
4. With wireless remote control slides you can run the slide rooms
out while standing outside to make sure your slideroom doesn't
hit that big tree on the site or the neighbors shed.
5. With remote control you can turn on your outside scare light
from down the road if you forgot to on your way out the door for
the evening walk.
Two-in-One:
Like having a backup plan. The front
landing gear, rear stabilizer, awning,
slide outs and Exterior Light are all
controlled by switches inside the
concealed switch panel or outside the

SHARKSKIN PROTECTION:
The Big Country underbelly is enclosed, which
helps eliminate wind drag and increase gas
mileage. The extremely rugged underbelly is
rustproof, puncture resistant, and also repels
moisture and rodents. It is also a vapor
barrier, preventing moisture buildup because
its made of a non-conducting material that
sheds the hot and cold elements. This onepiece shield covers the entire bottom of the
frame.

SUPERIOR FRAME CONSTRUCTION
B
ADVANTAGE:

The Big Country frame is powder coated with some of the toughest primer coating
in the business. Electrical currents are attached to the steel frame during spraying,
causing the powder coating to be attracted to the steel. The powder coating process
is far more effective at preventing rust than typical
painted-on primers used by other manufacturers.

One of the main stress points of any fifth wheel
is its upper deck. This also happens to be one
area where a lot of manufacturers “cheat” their
customers by compromising on how much steel
and the gauge of steel they use in this area. The
Big Country transition from the mainframe to the
second level is constructed utilizing heavy gauge
box tube steel framing. Extra steel framing is
welded in for superior floor support and increased
cab-over structural strength, providing the type of
structure and support normally reserved for luxury
fifth wheels costing thousands more.

INSIDE VIEW
Each Big Country slide room
opening is equipped with
a special corner block seal
that additionally protects the
corners from any moisture
that might otherwise enter
during transit.
To ensure no penetration at ground level
from high pressure water created by tire
rotation, the main floor has been notched
back 4”, and a wedge-shaped slide out
floorpan is installed. This slope runs away
from the main floor, ensuring water runs
off if any gets by the triple seal system. A
nylon wear bar provides smooth running
action for the slide room to glide on while
protecting your floor.
Manual Over-Ride: Every Big Country
slide can be manually retracted or extended
in case of emergency. A cordless drill will
bring in or retract a slide
room in minutes;
a nice safety
feature.
