world of commercial lighting. The new Indy Designer Series LED Luminaires use next
generation, high power LEDs to produce over 900 lumens of pure white light from
just 18 watts of energy. That’s illumination output ideal for wide-ranging commercial
applications but with energy consumption as little as 20% that of comparable
conventional light sources.

Advantages of the Modular Design
The Indy design helps to mitigate concerns about adopting
new technology. How?
While many LED downlights have been designed with the
light engines as an integral non-replaceable part of the heat
sink, Indy engineers found a way to achieve the required
heat sink properties using a modular design.
Ready for Today and Tomorrow
Because the light engine and driver of the Indy LED
Luminaire are modular components, they can be quickly and
economically replaced. So if you want to change color
temperature, upgrade to future technology advancements,
or replace the light engine at the end of its useful life, this
can be easily accomplished without having to return the unit
to the factory or installing a new fixture.
5-Year Warranty
A 5-Year warranty is your assurance that you are purchasing
the highest quality product. However, should the light engine
or driver ever require maintenance, the modular design makes
servicing the fixture as simple as conventional lamp/ballast
replacement.

Next generation LED technology
for commercial illumination
High-output Color Consistent, Remote Phosphor Light Engine
The remote phosphor light engine integrates
multiple blue LED die in a mixing chamber that
efficiently directs the blue light from the die onto
a remote phosphor disc. Since the light extraction
from the blue LED die is greater than comparable
white phosphor conversion LEDs, a highly efficient
light engine results that produces 1,100 lumens
from just 18 watts of input energy.
In addition, by blending multiple blue LED die in
the mixing chamber, a more consistent blue
wavelength is created and matched to a remote
phosphor disc producing a CCT of 3000K or
4100K at 80 CRI. This results in greater color
consistency than can currently be attained using
conventional white LED packages. And since the
phosphor is removed from the source of heat,
thermal degradation of the phosphor is minimized
and maximum color stability over time is achieved.
The quick-connect light engine, enables LED
change-out without replacement of the entire
fixture or heat sink. It’s the ultimate in
convenience.

Thermal Management
Thermal management is critical to
every aspect of an LED fixture.
Light output, service life and color
stability are all directly related to
operating temperature. By designing the light engine into a fully
enclosed, modular system, maximum heat dissipation is achieved.
The die-cast heat sink provides
superior thermal management,
assuring optimal service life. After

Advanced Thermal Management
