The electronic modules are static sensitive and normal Anti-static precautions should be taken when handling them. Some simple soldering will be required when removing and replacing items 5-6-11-16-26. This unit will only charge and accept Ni-CAD 7.2v to 18v batteries (Not Univolt) The radio will run up to 12 hours on a single battery charge using an 18 volt - 2.0AH battery, using batteries of lower voltage will produce less run time.
