Operating Instructions
Receptacle Tester
1. Plug the transmitter into the receptacle.
2. Determine the status of the circuit connection according to the 3 LEDs.
The diagram below indicates all of the possible combinations that could
appear for the circuit under test (LED from one side of the GFCI buttons). If observed from the other side, the order of LED indicator lights
will be reversed.
3. Ground connections cannot be detected when there are two power
lines in one circuit.
Circuit Breaker Finder
1. Plug the transmitter into a receptacle; two green LEDs will light up.
2. Place the receiver in front of the open circuit breaker box. Adjust the
sensitivity wheel on the receiver to the highest sensitivity position. At this point the red LED will be ON. If not, please check the battery.

3. Orient the receiver to scan the surface of the circuit breaker panel and
move the receiver from top to bottom on each side. See diagram on
next page.

4. As the receiver approaches the breaker of the circuit under test, it will detect the
signature emitted from the transmitter and confirm the line between receptacle and circuit breaker by making a “tick” sound and the red power LED will flash.

5. While moving the receiver, gradually reduce
the sensitivity to pinpoint the exact breaker
associated to the circuit under test.
GFCI Socket Tester
1. Plug the transmitter into the socket, check that the circuit is connected
correctly according to the LED indicators.
2. Press the GFCI button for at least 8 seconds, the indicator light will turn
off when the GFCI button is reset.
3. If the circuit does not reset the GFCI button, either the GFCI button or
the wire connection are not working correctly.
Battery Replacement
1. The battery needs to be replaced when the indicator lights are not
bright or if the red light is not on.
2. Slide the battery cover according to the arrow to open the battery compartment and remove the battery.
3. Install a 9V battery using the correct polarity.
4. Close the battery cover.
