Press release 31st October 2012 New “EaziClick” greenhouses will boost 2013 garden retail horizons (31/10/12 – London) Nison, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of high quality garden buildings, is today launching a new generation range of family-friendly polycarbonate greenhouses. Packed full of retailer and consumer benefits, the new EaziClick range has a completely unique and patented DIY assembly system that cuts build times by up to 60% when compared with traditional aluminium greenhouses. The innovative new system also overcomes one of the bugbears most frequently associated with polycarbonate glazed units: panels which pop out under the slightest pressure. By incorporating a unique, high quality aluminium profile and mushroom-style snap fixing the panels on these new Nison greenhouses are certain to remain in-situ under adverse weather conditions or point loading. Combined, the stability of the EaziClick frame system and the virtually unbreakable twin wall polycarbonate panels make this the very best range for family gardens. All too often, gardeners with young families delay buying a greenhouse because of the danger of broken glass resulting from wayward footballs, cricket balls, basketballs (the list goes on). The cost, difficulty (and angst) of replacing glass panels is also a deterrent, with many waiting until children are older to indulge their passion for year-round gardening. While there are a number of polycarbonate systems already available, most have failed to match their glass alternatives in terms of stability. EaziClick fills this gap, remedying the stability issue and at the same time reducing assembly times by as much as 60%. MORE The EaziClick fixing system Previous polycarbonate greenhouses have used ‘W’ clips to secure the panels. Under pressure, this system often fails, resulting in panels feeling flimsy and falling out at inopportune moments. Recognising this, Nison’s Research, Design and Innovation team set out to develop a new system. The result is EaziClick. Using this system, the purchaser builds the frame in the traditional way, but that’s where the similarities end. With the frame complete, the panels are then laid on top and are snapped into place using the outer frame. Each outer frame piece incorporates the “mushroom style” fixings. As pressure is applied to the outer frames these fixings yield and are accepted into the grooves within the inner frame where they expand slightly to regain their original shape. As a result the panels are held firmly in place. Despite the system’s stability, removing panels is also simple, with no need for an alarming array of tools. The EaziClick outer frame is simply manually prized from the inner frame allowing full access to the panels for easy cleaning and maintenance. Polycarbonate – the sensible option The new EaziClick range from Nison not only uses speedy assembly technology, but also provides all of the heat dissipation, safety and strength benefits associated with twin wall polycarbonate. Nison greenhouses use only superior quality twin wall polycarbonate panels which have a longer lifespan than some of the other panels currently available. As an alternative to glass, polycarbonate not only filters out harmful UV rays, protecting both plants and the gardener, it also warms up and retains heat earlier in the season without the need for added heat. This means that green fingered enthusiasts can get planting earlier and try out ever more exotic planting. As the panels are far lighter than their glass alternatives, the system needs less supporting structure which also results in better light penetration and less draught potential. The stability and rigidity of the complete structure, however, is not compromised as all EaziClick greenhouses are supplied with a supporting base. In addition, the combined weight of the inner and outer frames further enhances stability. MORE Perhaps the most important advantage when it comes to the family garden, however, is the fact that polycarbonate is almost unbreakable. Nison has tested the panels by walking on them and smashing them with a hammer – and not one broke under the pressure. For families with budding Wayne Rooneys or Kevin Pietersens, it takes the worry out of greenhouse ownership. Range The first of a range of innovative products to be launched by Nison into the UK garden retail sector, EaziClick greenhouses are available in seven sizes starting at 4ft x 6ft right up to 12ft x 8ft. Single door structures are supplied in a natural aluminium alloy finish while the larger double door units have a dark green powder coating. All have high specification frames manufactured from 6063 alloy aluminium and are supplied with a 15 year frame warranty as standard. In fact, 6063 grade aluminium is the grade typically used in the construction industry. EaziClick greenhouses also feature a higher than normal apex which allows better air circulation and is an added bonus for taller gardeners or those who simply want to maximise the use of space. To provide maximum sales opportunities, Nison can supply a wide range of greenhouse accessories including staging and hanging systems. Retailer support Although a global leader in the design and supply of garden buildings, Nison is a new brand to the UK market and so offers excellent retail growth opportunities. Currently available through several online outlets, the UK head office has taken time to develop its UK range to meet market requirements. The team, lead by Managing Director Daryll Lindridge, has put in place a full retail support service and marketing campaign to support EaziClick retail sales across the key 2013 greenhouse selling period. A feature that should please stockists is Nison’s fast delivery times. The company aims to turn around all sales within 2-3 days of receipt of order, meaning that an EaziClick greenhouse ordered in-store on a Saturday will normally be supplied by Wednesday. For additional retailer peace of mind, Nison operates a UK customer support service with dedicated phone line. This means that any assembly or maintenance enquiries need not be directed back to the retailer, but instead to the Nison team. MORE With Facebook pages and Twitter accounts set up and already gaining momentum, Nison is set to embark on an ambitious media relations campaign to promote the benefits of EaziClick greenhouses to consumers across the country. A national gardening magazine competition is planned, as are approaches to gardening interest magazines, national newspaper gardening supplements, websites, bloggers and broadcasters. Regional demonstrations and retailer training sessions to support new stockists are also planned. About Nison Nison is a market leader across continental Europe and Asia and has been designing, manufacturing and supplying high quality garden buildings for more than 20 years. The company’s greenhouses are best sellers in the demanding German, Swiss and Danish markets where high quality, style and excellent functionality are baseline requirements. With Nison now firmly established in the UK from its head quarters in Kent, the company’s Research, Development and Innovation team is developing new products to bring to market, with exciting companion and range extension offers already in the pipeline.
