NOTE: Each cell on the grid identifies the date and time of a final exam according to the semester block schedule. Identify the day and
time of your final exam by finding the regular meeting time of your class in a cell. Look at the column heading and row label of the cell
for the day and time of the exam. For example, the cell at the intersection of column B, row 3 indicates that the exam for classes that
normally meet MWF at 1:00 will be held on Wednesday, December 7, at 12:45.
1.
Some multi-section day courses, such as C/IL 102, combine their exams into one test time. Locate these courses in a cell and read
the grid the same as above.
2.
The exam for each evening course (start time 4:30 p.m. or later) is held on a night that the class normally meets and in the timeslots
indicated in the above timetable, with the exception that Monday classes with a start time of 4:30 p.m. or later will be held on
Friday, December 10, in the designated timeslots.
3.
If a day lecture course meets one or two times a week, the exam is held on the date and time assigned for the corresponding MWF
or TR classes.
4.
If a day lecture course meets four or five times a week, the exam is held on the date and time assigned for the corresponding MWF
classes.
5.
For classes that normally meet at a time that is an exception to the standard block schedule: Find the meeting time with the next
closest start time for that day of the week and follow the exam schedule for that meeting time.
6.
Except for multi-section exams, all classes meet for the exam in the same room assigned for the semester.
7.
Multi-section exams are for day sections of a course only. Rooms for these exams will be assigned by the Registrar, posted on the
Registrar’s webpage (www.scranton.edu/registrar), and announced prior to the end of class by the department offering the course.
