It is finished with white Duraplex II™ polyester powder coat for a finish that is highly resistant to chalking and deterioration. Reinforced slide-in lens design allows for easy relamping. Ballast components are rigidly mounted on a heavy-duty ballast bracket that is welded directly to the housing for maximum heat transfer and strength. Lamp sockets are nickel plated “lamp grip” type with a spring loaded center contact. Sockets are 4KV pulse rated. Anodized aluminum, high reflectance lighting sheet is used with the primary reflector and ballast cover/secondary reflector to provide high efficiency and long life without significant deterioration. A high impact resistant, “double prism” injection molded acrylic refractor gives excellent light distribution. Field rotatable optics switch from symmetrical to asymmetrical distribution. For polycarbonate drop lens, consult factory. Ballast components are easily accessed through the lamp compartment and can be reached through a removable ballast cover. The ballasts are high power autotransformer type (CWA) with copper windings. Winding insulation is Class H (180° C) and capable of operating lamps at –20°F for Metal Halide and –40°F for HPS. All ballast components are 100% tested to assure reliability and maximum performance.
