LSI Courtsider’s high performance ISL2
Series delivers uniform, comfortable,
indirect illumination without glare or hot
spots. This fixture is ideal for applications
requiring indirect lighting for large spaces
with high ceilings such as indoor tennis
courts, multi-purpose athletic facilities,
auditoriums, and clean manufacturing
facilities. The ISL2 complies with NFPA’s
(National Fire Protection Association)
National Electric Code 2005 Article
410.73.F.5 in regards to Metal Halide
lamp containment requirements.
Specifications
Housing
Seamless, impact resistant, 18 gauge spun steel
with high temperature white polyester powder coat
finish.
Mounting
The luminaire hangs from a white ¾” rigid aluminum
stem. The stem attaches to a swivel at the ceiling so the
luminaire hangs straight on inclined ceilings.
Reflector
Fabricated, conical shaped, six sided anodized
specular aluminum (.020") with minimum 86%
reflectivity.
Servicing
Lamp changing and fixture cleaning is accomplished by
hinging the bottom housing open or completely removing
the housing for remote cleaning—no tools required.
Safety retaining cable & clip connects the housing to the
wireguard for additional security. Latching mechanism is
integral to wire guard.
Wire Guard
One-piece, conical shaped, steel wire guard with 8
gauge spokes and 10 gauge circumferential rings.
Wire guard is finished in flat black polyester
powder coat finish.
Socket
Porcelain mogul base , pulse-rated open rated
socket.
Lamp
1000 watt Metal Halide Protected lamp. Clear
lamps supplied as standard. The ISL2 fixture
complies with NFPA’s (National Fire Protection
Association) National Electric Code 2005 Article
410.73.F.5 in regards to Metal Halide lamp
containment requirements.
Ballast
Remote ballast is designed for indoor or protected
locations. Ballast is Class H, high power factor, core and
coil design to operate a 400 or 1000 Watt Metal Halide
lamp. Ballast is available in multi-tap (120V, 208V,
240V, 277V) or 480V versions. Ballast enclosure is
constructed of and finished in heavy gauge
pre-galvanized steel. Ballast is listed for damp locations.
Encapsulation and fusing are available as options.
Performance
Fixture is 100% indirect, symmetrical distribution,
producing 74.3 efficiency minimum, with maximum
candlepower at 42 degrees from vertical.
