Date Night. Thursday, August 11, 6:00pm in the Althouse Room. The deadline
has passed to reserve childcare, but it’s not too late to join Pastor Bob, Linda,
and the rest of the couples for a brief conversation. Couples will then go out on
their own dates.
Eagle Ceremony. Sunday, August 14, 12:15pm in the Sanctuary. Thomas
Bledsoe will be recognized as our newest Eagle Scout.

“An Evening with Three Authors”
All women are invited to an evening of dessert and fellowship on Wednesday,
August 31, 7:00pm in the Abernethy Student Center as we hear from three of our
own authors. Angie Pisel, Mary Felkins, and Jackie Perry will share about their
book-writing process and adventures.
Childcare is available for children up to 5th grade, if reserved by August 24. Email melissashuford@yahoo.com to reserve childcare.
Stephen Ministry Training
Stephen Ministers are trained lay caregivers who help others in times
of crisis or need. If you are interested in becoming a Stephen Minister,
contact Pastor Lori, lori@corinthtoday.org, by August 24 to sign up for the
next training, which is scheduled to begin in September.
Women’s Retreat Sign-up
Registration is now open for the “Just
Curious” women’s retreat, November 4-5 at
the Catholic Conference Center in Hickory.

women of Corinth as speaker Logan Wolfram
invites you to overcome feelings and outside circumstances that inhibit growth and
rob you of hope. Pursue curiosity to enjoy the wonder of an openhanded life.

Christianity 101 Class
Pastor Bob is starting over with his one-year
Christianity 101 Sunday school class. This class assumes
that you have no background in the Bible or the church.
The first quarter, which begins September 4, will be an
overview of the Bible. For more information or to join

Marriage Class
A new series of Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts
will begin in the fall. This eight-week course is for any
engaged or seriously dating couple. It is required for a
Corinth wedding. The location and dates are not yet
