Better than clean: QLEEN.
Glass and window cleaners have known and appreciated
the PURAQLEEN system for years. It is the original that
granted the European award for innovation in 2005.
Under the registered trademark “QLEEN – Pure Water
Cleaning-Systems“ Lehmann KG presents in its restructured programme the newest trends of cleaning technology. The aim of the distinctive “QLEEN” is to make the
meanwhile quite extensive programme clearer and to facilitate the upgrading to an even more versatile modular
system. The development of the technology proceeds
quickly and follows the increasing requests of the market.
„QLEEN“ is the name, „PURAQLEEN“ is the content.
“PURAQLEEN” still refers to the water treatment technology. It is the core of the QLEEN system. Normal tap water
runs through a resin bed and is de-mineralised. The minerals ( calcium and magnesium salts) remain in the filter
bottle. Due to its physical characteristics the “pure” water
has a high purification capacity. It blends with the dirt
particles on the surface. The particles are then washed
away. Even heavy dirt like bird droppings is removed.
Pure water has a very good wetting ability. It dries without leaving streaks or spots, even in direct sunshine. An
additional treatment with squeegees or wash leathers, as
known from conventional cleaning, is no longer necessary.

Cleaning with de mineralised water is absolutely harmless because no chemical (aggressive) substances are
used. No damages are caused on the cleaned surfaces.
Only greasy, oily or specific dirt requires a pre-treatment

What do we mean by „Better than clean“?
By working with mineral-matter-free water glass and facade cleaning has become safer and more efficient. Lehmann KG has played a major part in that by developing
PURAQLEEN. “Pure” water cleans faster and more thoroughly than tap water – it deterges. (see overview of advantages on page 4). That is one important advantage
which is appreciated by many people.
The characteristic that distinguishes „QLEEN“ however
clearly is the fail-safe interaction between the elaborate modules: the flexible ground stations, the simple and
safe mounting and dismounting of the poles, the proved
water flow system, the effective tools that do the “real”
work aloft and much more.
The development of better and better modules is the
challenge our Lehmann engineers work on daily. Here
are the potentials of an even easier, even bette and even

The PURAQLEEN-System
Characteristics of the QLEEN-System
Architects design more and more buildings in the newest and most beautiful architectural styles. Cleaning and
consequently maintaining value of glass and façades elements of those buildings can -due to the exceptional architecture – create considerable problems. Examples of
nearly inaccessible glass and façade parts are roofings of
commercial centres, glass domes, inclined glazings etc.
A solution is offered by the elaborate QLEEN system. It
is a modular cleaning system that works with demineralised water – the system PURAQLEEN. The “pure” water
is purified in mobile ground stations and pumped through hose and pole systems in up to 20 metres working
height. With the different tools, a skilled glass and façade
cleaner can clean an area of up to 250 square metres per
hour. This is all now possible without the use of elevated
platforms, trucks and/or ladders.
The QLEEN system is a modular system that can be configured according to the level of difficulty. Therefore working in an Efficient, safe and economic way is now possible, no matter how easy or complicated the tasks may
be. Upon your requests we can also workout and offer
special solutions for extraordinary tasks. Over the years,
the Lehmann engineers have encountered and solved
the most difficult problems.

Advantages of the QLEEN-System at a glance:
We offer a longer protection against many new contaminations. Long-lasting cleanliness due to use of demineralised water, minimised electrostatic charging, suitable
for cleaning of glass, window-frames, light boxes, facade
copings, blinds and many more, optimal accessibility and
fast working in a height of up to 20 m, safe and acceptable working conditions, light and very shockproof piping
components, made of carbone or light aluminium, stable
and durable tubular constructions due to the use of new
premium materials.
The various application ranges of the QLEEN-System
The application of demineralised water makes QLEEN a
cleaning system with a large application range. The water,
purified by the PURAQLEEN technique, has a strong cleaning effect and is yet absolutely unobjectionable.
Only greasy, oily or specific dirt requires a pre-treatment
with a detergent. This detergent is also aspirated automatically by an injector and added to the tap water. After
that, the system can be changed to pure water, and the
dirt is washed rinsed thoroughly. Safety in the application refers not only to ecological but also to sanitary
matters.
This means that QLEEN can also be used for delicate surfaces , because the removal of normal dirt does not require any additional detergents. An example is the cleaning of delicate solar and photovoltaic surfaces. Those
surfaces, cleaned by pure water, dry streaklessly even in
direct sunlight. As no further treatment is required, delicate surfaces are preserved from damage.

In the QLEEN system, the Lehmann KG offers you different
mobile PURAQLEEN stations. Moreover, we offer different
versions of performance and equipment – your basis for
successful working and nearly every task and economic
consideration. For particular assignments you receive on
request a particular station, developed to cater for your
requirements.
Except for the reverse-osmosis system, all PURAQLEENstations are based on the proved PURAQLEEN technique
of water treatment. All poles and tools are compatible to
every PURAQLEEN station.

QLEEN-Poles
Fail-safe pole systems – made for people
The fail-safe pole systems make the difference. The pure
water and the working equipment (tools like brush, pad
etc) are raised in heights of up to 20m by light poles, the
QLEEN poles. All poles are 157cm long. Only for stabilisation or for special loads (e.g. brush head) poles of 78 cm
are used. QLEEN poles are made of different high quality materials. CARBONPOLES are lighter than TITANLIGHT.
Screwing the poles is fast and safe. Safe and stable because of the large contact surfaces of the fixed piping
components with the bolted connection in the middle.
In the QLEEN system, the pure water does not flow through the pipe. The water-bearing hose is fixed to the
pipe by Velcro fasteners. This system has proved of value
for years.

Reliable tools are to be used aloft and for difficult working conditions
The right tool is decisive for thorough working aloft. Our
engineers develop more and more refined methods in
order to make quick and thorough working possible.
Very helpful are different bows and joints to treat inclined surfaces in different dimensions and inclinations.
The bows can be equipped with various coverings, pads
and brushes.
Particularly versatile is ROTAQLEEN, an electrically operated brush head. Due to rotation, powered by two motors
(12 volt) it has an even better cleaning effect than standard brushes. The rotating side brushes obtain very good
results even in difficult accessible angles. The self-weight
increases the contact pressure which consumes less applied force for seriously positive results.

The Lehmann service „special configuration“
In this catalogue we point out right at the beginning
the advantages of cleaning with „pure water“ (original
PURAQLEEN technique) Once again: Especially for the
cleaning of delicate surfaces we recommend the use of
“pure water”. Photovoltaic and solar plants, but also the
surfaces of metal, stone, plastic etc are typical fields of
application.
Whatever maybe your business that requests special
cleaning works – we give advice with regard to combination, use and efficiency of tool and device equipment
from our proved QLEEN system. Discover new working
opportunities and earning potentials – no matter whether the task is big or small.
Cleaning of Photovoltaic and solar plants are only two of
the many present tasks that can be carried through successfully with our QLEEN combinations.
Advice: For „normal“ cleaning in the household and business Lehmann offers „LEWI-Sets”. For this purpose we
equip functional and robust nylon bags ( for storage and
transport) individually with LEWI professional tools.
