On the following pages of this directory you will find the
county names, addresses, and telephone numbers of
Sheriff Offices and Police Departments from across the
state of Georgia that have at least one Drug Drop Box. In
a number of counties there are multiple locations for
citizens to drop off their outdated, unused, or unwanted
prescription or over the counter drugs. It is very
important to note that these Boxes are not designed to
accept needles/sharps, syringes with needles,
thermometers, IV bags, bloody or infectious waste,
personal care products, empty containers, inhalers,
medical equipment or hydrogen peroxide. Before
disposing of your outdated, unused, or unwanted drugs
please tear off or mark through any personal identifying
information on the container. If you have any questions
with regard to the use of the Drug Drop Box please
contact the phone number listed for that particular
location.
