Jackson County Sheriff Department is investigating a report of a bicyclist who was shot in the leg by a bb gun.
The incident occurred this a.m. at approximately 10:45 near Catamount Gap. No suspect description is
available. A older model boxy style Honda Civic or Accord with 3 subjects inside may have been involved.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff Department at 828-586-1911.
