New Vice President
Joseph Cianciotto, Vice President Business Development
New Island Hospital has appointed
Joseph Cianciotto Vice-President for
Business Development. Mr.
Cianciotto formerly Vice President at
Jzanus Consulting Incorporated has
held various administrative positions
at New Island over the past two
years as part of the Jzanus
Consulting engagement. Previously
most of his career was spent at
Catholic Medical Centers of
Brooklyn & Queens, where he held
the position of Executive Director at
Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph's
Hospitals. He holds a Bachelor's
Degree in Business Administration
from St. John's University and a
Master's Degree in Healthcare
Administration from Adelphi
University.

Women’s Running and Fitness

runners in the world joined with
lots of runners from Long Island
for the 23rd annual Vytra
Women’s Run, held on the roads
of Farmingdale on Saturday
morning, July 8, 2006 - and
everyone enjoyed an almost
picture perfect event!
Transported Russian athlete
Natalia Belova, who now makes her
home in Manhattan, scored as the
first finisher overall, in a blazing
time of 15 minutes, 56 seconds, six
second, amazing the spectators as
she shifted into an incredible new
gear at the top of the stretch to pull
away from runners-up Aziza Aliyn
and Marie Davenport.
Top Long Island finishers were
Megan Holden (17:13), Katie Di
Camillo (17:38). and Lindsey
Webber (17:50). Katie won the
Paula Wunderlich Memorial Award
as the first member of GLIRC to
cross the finish line.
Top local finishers included
Paula MacCulloch of Bethpage,
who took 2nd place honors in the
Clydesdale 140-159 pound weight
division. Clare Roman of Bethpage.
the 4th place finisher in that same
Clydesdale division. Shari Mark of
Plainview. who scored first in the
30-34 Age Group, and Lori
Sheinwald of Old Bethpage, who
took 3rd place honors among the
Masters Racewalkers.
Special thanks go to The Town
of Oyster Bay and its very
supportive Supervisor John
Venditto for their continued
support for running and fitness, to
Lorie Sheinwald of Old Bethpage
heads for the finish line.
New York State Senator Carl
Marcellino for his enthusiastic
