Declaration
I, the participant, hereby agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations of Run with Colours
2015.
I certify that all particulars given are correct. I am entering Run with Colours 2015 at my
own risk and shall not hold the organizers or sponsors responsible for any
accident/injury/death/loss of property occurring before, during or after the competition.
My age is calculated from my identity card/birth certificate and is given correctly.
RUN WITH COLOURS 2015 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.
The run is conducted by the Brunei Youth Council.
2.
The run is open to all Bruneian citizens, residents and foreigners of all ages.
3.
A parent or a guardian must accompany participating children under the age of 12 on
the event day.
4.
Special needs participants must be accompanied by their own guardians on the event
day.
5.
No drugs, illegal substances, performance-enhancing substances or intoxications of any
kind are permitted to be brought to the venue.
6.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises itself.
7.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the event and these terms and
conditions without notice.
8.
If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the organizer shall be the authority to
interpret and in so doing. The organizer will take into account the interests of the entire
affected participant.
9.
Completion of the online registration form confirms the participant’s agreement to
abide by these terms and conditions.
10.
The organizer does not hold any responsibility for the loss and damage of personal
properties and equipment brought during the run.
11.
The coloured powder is made of food grade cornstarch. It is safe to use, non-toxic and
it is biodegradable.
12.
The closing date for the registration will be on 10th May 2015.
13.
The payment will be held on the 11th - 13th May 2015 at the Indoor Stadium,
Berakas.
14.
Only exact payment will be accepted at the payment counter.
15.
The shirt sizes cannot be changed once you’ve made your payment.
16.
Participants are required to produce the payment receipt and donation card to collect
their participant kit from 4th -6th June 2015 at the Indoor Stadium, Berakas.
17.
The participant kit would include a t-shirt, a bib, a pair of sunglasses and a finisher
medal.
18.
Participants are strictly not allowed to transfer his or her race entry to another party or
change race categories after his or her registrations are confirmed.
19.
Run t-shirt and bib must be worn at all times during the event day for identification and
safety purposes.
20.
All participants are advised to bring extra clothes to change after the event.
21.
All participants are advised to bring wet tissues to clean up themselves after the event.
22.
No refunds are given for any withdrawals or cancellation of the event. All withdrawals
or cancellation will proceed to charity.
23.
Participants are not allowed to throw any coloured powders outside of the designated
areas (i.e. the colour stations).
24.
The organizer will not condone any sale of coloured powders or merchandise relating to
Run with Colours by any third parties during the day of the event.
25.
In the event that Run with Colours 2015 will be cancelled, for reason or force majeure
i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that is beyond the control of the organizer and which
renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the event, there shall be no refund of fees unless
the organizer deems fit to give a refund and the organizer shall not be liable for any other
loss or inconvenience caused. The organizer shall not be liable for any loss or
inconvenience caused due to such changes.
26.
Nobody has the rights to abuse any photographs, motion picture, recording or any other
record of this race and of participants for any purpose including commercial advertising.
27.
The decisions of the organizing committee are final in accepting entries. No refund will
be made for wrongful or multiple entries. Incomplete entry forms will not be accepted.
