GENERAL
INFORMATION OF THE
SPECIFICATION
This specification describes the different type of wood sidings Tradition
offered by GOODFELLOW INC as well as their related work. You can use this
specification by adding or deleting the necessary sections for your project. It
must also be modified so that the standards and codes apply in your country.
The model can be chosen in our catalogue available on our web site. We only
supply the wood, the trims, the finish, and the nails. The other accessories,
such as furring or flashing must be supplied elsewhere.
The numbers and specification references are based on the specification
master of the Canadian National Master Specification (NMS).
The responsibility of GOODFELLOW INC is limited to the present document.
We are not responsible for all the modifications applied. This specification,
modified or not, must be used with the approbation of a professional who
assumes the entire responsibility. This document has no legal power if
employed in its actual form and if not approved by the responsible
professional.

1.9 WARANTIES
2. Provide the architect or the owner the receipt indicating the sidings
reception date. Also provide them a copy of the warranty certificate
stipulating that the siding described in the present section is covered :
- 55 years against rotting
- 15 years on the opaque PPG finish
- 4 years on the semi-transparent Sansin dye
- 60 years against the stainless steel nails corrosion
, from the date of delivery.

Install sill flashings, wood starter strips, inside corner flashings,
edgings and flashings over openings.

Fasten wood siding in straight, aligned lengths to [framing and
