The Neiman Marcus Group Catalogue Transition Frequently Asked Questions for NMG Internal Catalogue Users FAQ 1) What is the transition about? InterTrade currently maintains two separate catalogue platforms: The NMG Catalogue and ecCatalogue, which was acquired in 2010. We are currently consolidating both platforms into one which will be called ecCatalogue. 2) What's in it for NMG Internal Users and Vendors? o A single platform will help InterTrade facilitate the evolution of the product to meet the future business needs of the NMG and its community of vendors. o Vendors can choose to make their product data available to other retailers who use the InterTrade catalogue. o Vendors who currently provide product data on both InterTrade catalogues (multiple retailers), will be able to maintain their data in one single place going forward. 3) What is the impact for NMG? The NMG internal catalogue users will work with a new User Interface that is easier and faster. Po Manager, I Link and Buyers Workmate will be pulling the product information from the new platform. 4) What is the impact for the Vendors? Vendors will work with a new User Interface that is easier and faster. Publishing data on the catalogue will be done the same 3 ways: o EDI 832 o CSV/Excel upload o Web Browser / Manual key-in 5) Will this transition require training? Training documentation will be distributed via email and the EDI team will be available for questions. 6) Will all Vendors have to transition to the new platform at the same time? All vendors have to transition but NOT at the same time. InterTrade will create groups depending on vendors’ preferred timeline. 7) When will this transition happen? November 2012 for NMG internal users; January to June 2013 for vendors. 8) How will the internal systems know where to pull the data from? The NMG internal systems will continue to pull product data from the current catalogue until the connectivity is switched to the new platform (ecCatalogue) on NMG transition day. InterTrade will synchronize the vendor catalogues onto ecCatalogue to allow NMG to pull the data from only one place post-transition. 9) Will Vendors need to reload product data into the new catalogue? Most data will be fully migrated and then synchronized onto the new platform by InterTrade. Vendors with specific requirements will be contacted separately. 10) Will NMG Internal Users keep the same username and password on the new UI? Yes. 11) What is the next step for NMG Internal Users? More information will be sent to all Users in the coming weeks. 12) What is the next step for Vendors? All vendors will be sent an initial email informing them of the improvements to come. They will then be asked to complete a short online survey to qualify their transition needs. This survey will be sent out by email in the coming weeks July 2012 Page 1 of 1
