E261 has recently been uploaded onto the site Subject Leadership E261 Body Parts This package supports teaching the position of the major organ systems in the human body. The resource consists of drawings of body and torso outlines, together with sets of illustrations of the major organ systems drawn to fit onto each of the outlines. Learning & Teaching Assessing Pupil Progress in Science APP Working Group A group of colleagues from across the county have worked together to write probing questions to help teachers to delve into pupils’ understanding of the five AFs. These will be available to all schools very shortly Science e profile Version 2.1 User Guide Here is a simple activity you could use to assess: AF 1 Thinking Scientifically or AF3 Communicating & Collaborating in science E237 Electric dominoes ‘Dominoes’ is a game that can be adapted to help children to link symbols with the names of objects. It can be printed out and cut up to produce 24 different ‘dominoes’. Each carries a symbol and a different named colour illustration GlosEd Update It Worked for us - Stories of Improvement The 'It worked for us' initiative recognises, celebrates and shares innovation across schools and settings in Gloucestershire. GlosEd Leaders and ASTs have been enjoying writing stories of improvement on aspects of writing and talking and these can be found on Schoolsnet.
